I'll second that ''deplorable'' comment and raise you a ''sad''.
I'd also like to expand the adjectives' coverage to include the fight,
and the announcing.
''Staged'' ?

from the guys attempting to fight...to the whole staged fight talk is rediculous....a 1/1....a 10 on suck factor

That was just deplorable.

Draw, took some of us longer to write about this "fight" than what it was worth.

I last saw Blake fight about 5 years ago. And looking at that one I see why. Yeesh. draw with a small d.

How can 15% of the voters pick either guy? I can see a case being made where there are punches thrown and missed but it looks like someone is being hit, but nobody threw a punch here. Some of the comments are more entertaining than the fight.

Winnik - "Hey Rob, I seem to have an incredible itch on my back, do you think you could find the kindness in you to help me?"
Blake - "Sure Daniel, let me graciously partake in the removal of your pads and sweater to help you better scratch it."
Winnik - "Oh you are a jolly ol' chap, I greatly appreciate it!"
Blake - "Please don't mention it, lets just pretend to raise a bit of a ruckus so that we may sit in solitude for a few minutes, I am incredibly tired."
Winnik - "Your call my friend, I promise no i'll will"

A "staged fight????" is the announcer a Crack head???there was no fighting, there was an attemped sexual assault, Winnik screamed out for an adult, none came, a zebra stepped in, they kissed. it was all good..draw...

Maybe blake just wanted to see Winnik in his t-shirt?

I was five rows from this crap. Winnik had landed a good solid hockey check on Boyle. As is so typical in the "new" NHL you could see Blake talking to Winnik. Winnik said "if you want too, let's go." Even Joe Thornton in the face off said to Blake "are you going too." And Blake I assume felt it was his "manly duty" to fight over a good hockey play.

As is obvous in this video Blake didn't want to fight and did everything he could keep Winnik from hitting him. Not that Winnik is a fighter but he fought when challeneged or attempted too. Blake should have gotten an instigator, and a game miscounduct. It is **** like this that has caused all of the hell over "good hockey fights." STAGED FIGHTS.

No winner but I would give it to Winnik no more than for standing up for himself when he should have been called on to do so.

If anyone wanted Winnik it should have been Boyle, no one else. Boyle was given a solid hit pure and simple.

I have always thought Blake was a "rough and tough" hockey player but his display last night sure took some hits as far as I am concerned.

The announcer that is stuck on calling this a "staged fight" is a moron. It's a retaliation/revenge scrap.

Blake should have kept the gloves on cuz that was embarrassing
