Good fight, but why would Weber fight a total plug like Strudwick?

Posted by tattooedkingpin on March 04, 2009 at 11:08 AM

Good fight. Draw

Posted by bruins rule on March 04, 2009 at 02:57 PM

this fight was much better than i thought it would be.

Posted by Sukoshi84 on March 03, 2009 at 11:41 PM

Weber started off well but Struds took over...... Edge Struds.

Posted by Juha82 on March 04, 2009 at 11:42 AM

good DRAW both connected some serious punches though some missed by both as well

Another entertaining scrap tonight, I frigging love these spur of the moment scraps as opposed to the dramatic goon square off. Weber is an absolute stud this year, and Strudwick has been nothing to scoff at himself. Called it a draw and another 7.

ecellent fight. solid draw as these 2 made for a tuff battle.

Posted by donkeymonk178 on March 03, 2009 at 10:39 PM

nice to see weber throwing his weight around.

Posted by jmw7 on March 05, 2009 at 06:33 PM

Pretty good tilt slight edge to Weber, seemed like he landed more shots at the start of the fight. But that Strudwick kid can hold his own.Gave the bout a 7.

Good fight between two good players. No clear winner.

Good fight by two underrated fighters. Draw

Another good showing for Weber. He has a great uppercut. Have to call this one a draw though. Glad the Preds are finally playing worth a damn.

Strudwick takes the kid to school.

Posted by ChrisNeilKO on March 04, 2009 at 08:09 PM

Win Strudwick. Loss Weber.

Posted by Plateworker on March 06, 2009 at 04:51 PM

Got to go with the Slight Edge to Struds

Posted by omorales on March 04, 2009 at 12:56 PM

tight tight, ed Strudwick, more shots

Posted by rocky 1 on March 04, 2009 at 12:36 AM

Two big boys willing to throw.Strudwick throws more and land more and Weber hung in ok.Give edge to strudwick.

Posted by billy jack on March 04, 2009 at 02:56 PM

strudwick finally went with a big boy and lost.

Posted by jay_R on March 06, 2009 at 01:28 PM

Strud is the bigger man but Shea was throwing the bigger bombs. edge to Shea cause you know those punches hurt.

Posted by digitalroc on March 08, 2009 at 07:41 PM

close fight, edge to weber.

Posted by bruiseyoureye on March 04, 2009 at 11:52 AM

great fight by popped strudwick's melon quite a few good times........easy win for weber.......strudwick is a dinosaur and should would think he would get tired of getting his face caved in for every fight that he is in....if he dont retire he will end up a para-palegic

Posted by ogie ogiltorpe on March 04, 2009 at 12:37 PM

love Strudwick but Weber catches him early for the slight edge in a close one

Posted by cheesecup on March 04, 2009 at 12:32 PM

Weber is an animal. I watched him his whole junior career and he has always been a dominating force. Although the fight was close Strudwick should be thankful he didnt recieve any of those haymakers.

Posted by dbpredsfan1212 on March 04, 2009 at 12:32 AM

I was at the game, when Weber landed the upper cut, I believe that gave him the edge.

Posted by thogled on March 04, 2009 at 11:09 AM

good to see weber dropping the gloves for the preds more often, pretty even scrap though, draw

Posted by Wallopred on March 04, 2009 at 12:02 AM

Struds whumped by Weber.

Posted by Bad Dawg on March 04, 2009 at 01:37 PM

Good Tilt, Weber slight margin..

Posted by killmachine on March 04, 2009 at 01:33 PM

Weber faded him a few times, with some heavy duty blasts,,, I give Strudwick much props for keeping on....good fight.

Posted by bilbobaggins on March 04, 2009 at 04:56 AM

Weber started faster and threw bigger shots. Strudwick kept steady. Pretty close but think Weber took it. Good fight.

Draw--sloppy, sloppy "fight"

Weber doesn't fight all that much but I've liked what I've seen from him recently. His offensive game has tapered off a bit in the latter part of the season, but his physical play has picked up instead. Have to call this one a DRAW

Posted by chad420 on March 06, 2009 at 11:20 PM

draw...a 6....struds is tough...shea impressed me

Posted by pynkfloid3 on March 04, 2009 at 05:11 PM

weber lands the better punches from what i saw. strudwick looks like he could throw with anybody though. if weber was actually willing to stand toe to toe with him strudwick would beat his as$. all weber wanted to do was stand up for his teammate and get a couple shots in and drag strudwick down to the ice. i love the intensity though.

Posted by kaiserwillbert on March 04, 2009 at 02:12 PM

Great scrap. Both are very good fighters and landed some real bombs. I'd call it a draw.

Posted by tomales2 on March 04, 2009 at 11:30 AM

Good scrap. Edge to Strudwick.

WEber started out strong but Strudwick got him late with the win.

Posted by BigBadBruins68 on March 04, 2009 at 01:50 PM

Extremely close, but I think Strudwick gets the nod for more shots thrown and landed.

Posted by marinermoose38 on March 03, 2009 at 11:22 PM

Hard to call it at first glance, but after watching it a second time, a few of Strudwick's punches landed in the second half of the fight whereas I don't think Weber landed one. Edge Strudwick.

Posted by kitcarnut on March 04, 2009 at 03:23 AM

weber all the way

Posted by bigdog2007 on March 04, 2009 at 06:56 AM

Weber is a beast....ok.ok....Spezza, Vermette, Smith, Kelly, Neil and 14 first round picks for Shea.....anyone? anyone?

Posted by azjim on March 04, 2009 at 03:13 AM

Good fight by both players. I give it to Weber based on the more effective shots at the beginning.
