| These two were talking it up for a good 15 seconds, then finally go along the boards after the whistle is blown. Avery throws a couple of rights, with one landing to the side of Sydor's head. They get in tight and Sydor throws a right that misses and they continue to grapple. Sydor gets off a couple of more ineffective rights followed by more grappling. Avery then lands a nice uppercut followed by a couple of rights that miss. They spin around and Avery knocks Sydor off-balance and he goes down, Avery lands a right on the way down. | ||

When he misses his good left early as he goes for wrestling-move and tryed soon a couple of nice punches, one landing well.
Avery still controlled this nice scrap mostly.
He took over clearly later although Sydor wasn't in panic/trouble.
But Avery's late moment was so convincing that he scores a CLEAR win.
