I love that Richards jumped in for (what in my opinion was) a bad hit on his teammate with injury problems... but he got worked. Coming from a Flyer fan. Call me a homer now knucklebrains. Richards got tuned like an old pianer. Hear that? Anyhow, still waiting on a dandy Cote/Hordichuk scrap though I hope. Regardless, Bieksa won. Flyer lost.

Doing something stupid like getting yourself injured during a fight and taking out 2 of your team's best scorers isn't what Richards needs to be doing. Let Cote do his job! Richards got worked and was lucky he wasn't hurt.

Cote to Richards: "Dude, I only had 4 minutes of ice time the whole game. Stop doing my job!"

Stick to the code, Mike!

25% Richards - Laughing my ass off.

Philly fans are the most faggish homers on this site for sure.

Bieksa domination here, Richards didnt land a punch.

Richards started it. Bieksa finished it. Pretty simple.

i have not seen the fight but i really hope it gets posted becuz from the comments im reading it sounds like richards got his a** handed to him which i love to watch...hes like dubinsky a horrible fighter..and yes i said it and im a rangers fan!! the two of them should stick to playin their game and leave the fightin to orr/voros and cote/gratton.. they are prolly the two worst fighters out of the middlewieght/lightweight division

How can you call it picking spots when Richards started the fight?

Bieksa is a beauty. One of the toughest pound for pound players in the league.

Bieksa man handled Richards in this one. It nice to see Richards stick up for his teammate but he was a little outclassed in this fight. I loved Bieksa blocking a punch and then taking off his helmet form there on i dont think richards had much of a chance.

Gotta give Richards major credit for taking on a guy he couldn't beat just to stick up for a teammate. He exemplifies what a Captain in the NHL should be. Think you'd ever see Cindy Crosby man up and take someone on legitimately like that? It would never happen. Richards shows he deserves the C every night he takes the ice.

What the hell was the annoucer talking about? They are the exact same size. Richards was brave but beaten
