Ahhhh the heat of the rivalry. I remember standing up in the living room with my mom yelling at the TV chanting OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE

This is a fight with a heck of a lot of passion

****ing great goalie-fight.
A lot of heart by both goalie.
In my mind it's a quite solid DRAW.
Roy ate a good/strong left by Osgood at the start.
Roy threw 2 strong rights but dont land because of Osgoods good defense-job.
Osgood changed to the right, throwing solid one that hits more shortly/softly.
Roy jersyed Osgood landing powerful right as the jersey goes off of Osgood.
Osgood took few nasty rights by Roy about middle but lands 2 in this great exchange.
First i think Roy wins because of strong flurry/middle part.
Osgood threw 2 nice rights then as he got Roy off-balanced to the ice but he gets up.
Roy tryed to thrwo a punch or two in the end but Osgood pushed him to the ice.
A great takedown by Osgood.
A DRAW.

Ozzie came from behind for the win. Old Patrick never did too good in a fight. Most of the Avs were only tough if they hit from behind like Lemieux.

For a goalie fight, this might be as good as it gets. Roy landed the better shots and I gave him the win. A lot of fights between two heavyweights aren't this good.

Roy got more punches in, but they were weak and most didn't hit the target. It seemed like Roy was sparadically flailing while Osgood waited until Roy got tired, then Osgood got a few good hits in and Roy fell over with Osgood falling on top of him. It was a fairly even fight, Roy got more punches in, but Osgood got better punches; i would say Osgood won because he ended up on top.

No matter who won or lost, this is the reason fighting MUST stay in hockey. Two guys going at it and doing it the right way, no helmets, just a good clean scrap.

Roy took this pretty solid. Osgood was getting beat so he ended the fight by pushing Roy to stop him from punching.

Patrick Roy beat Osgood up so bad, but somehow Osgood came back. What a fight!

Pretty good fight, great hands by both given the amount of padding. Roy is a hugely talented A-hole but that one night he did the right thing. Osgood stepped up when it appeared at first he was okay with letting it ride. Glad he stood up, they are both solid guys.

This was a win for Osgood hands down. Roy got the jersey off and landed a couple of punches, but Osgood responded with more punches and took the final take down. Roy was just a little b$^*h like the rest of the Avs at that time and Osgood just backed it up.

Both seemed at the beginning at about the same. But I feel that even though Roy started it, Osgood finished it pretty well. Osgood was going for hits, not swings. Roy just swung around not hitting much, but Osgood went right straight in.
