Sarich showed the energy later that McIver initially showed chasing after Iginla. Mc eeeever (obviously tired of people quoting a bad tv show) spent the whole fight losing while jockeying for position.

Good job by Cory to step in... McIver looked plain in the fight especially after all of the energy he showed trying to get at Iginla. Win Sarich.

Sarich did well. I miss him from Tampa he was and is a solid D man in his own end and a decent fighter when needs be

McIver didn't look like he really wanted to fight Sarich being on the Defensive most of the time and taking it from behind at one point.

Glad to see the flames are saving Iggy, I like the fact that he likes to fight but there's no need for him to fight guys like mcIver or Steve Ott

I don't think McIver would have stood much of a chance if it had of been Iginla that went with him. Sarich won this fight, no contest.

McIver was so concerned with getting Sarich tied up that he got himself twisted around.....lots of punches to back of McIver's head by Sarich....didn't like the shot to the face by Sarich to McIver as the referees were breaking up the fight.

I can not stand guys in this league that start fights and do not take on their visor it so chicken ****. Both Iginla and Sarich are *******. McIver is tough if he wasn't jumped with a guy wearing a shield he would've done much better.

brymaster1, there are two things wrong with your comment:
1. Iginla would lay a beatdown on McIver
2. McIver and Sarich didn't really square off so he didn't have time to shed the helmet (because of his visor)
