How can you give the bout to either man? Complete draw, maybe if Mayers wanted to fight rather than wrestle could have been a good scrap.

I don't think either wanted to fight, I give it to Mayers because he hurt Rivet with that one punch and got the takedown.

Slight edge to Mayers for the close. Rivet at the beginning but Mayers afterward. Not what you would call a toe-to-toe.
Mayers was trying to stir up something for a team that absolutely sucks.
Too many "quitters" are wearing the Bluenote.
