This wasn't really a fight. Voros was going to get five. The announcer were upset and saying dumb things. First there is point that SteelCity brought up. Also, Keith Carney doesn't fight much, but he has fought guys like Mario Roberge, Lyle Odelein and Andrei Nazarov. They made it sound like Carney was about to pee himself because he might have to fight Walker. Walker is a tough guy, but come on!

Im giving it to Cote just because Voros shouldve gotten much worse

That was about as dirty a hit as you'll ever see. Too bad Cole isn't a fighter as Voros deserved a real ass whipping.

The Canes announcers are painful to listen to. They take Homerism to a whole new level. Voros was careless but he did let up on Staal, he didn't try to put him threw the boards.

I'm pretty sure all this site is good for is watching fights, the comments have lost all credibility. People need to quit whining, hockey is a rough sport, that is what holds it above all other limp-wristed sports. Voros never left his feet, nor did he throw an elbow. In all reality he looked like he was trying to stop. In no way was it a dirty hit, just an unfortunate accident. I'm guessing whomever said this was a cheap hit also said that Simon tried to "saw off" Ruutuu's leg. Quit over reacting and pull up your damn skirts you sissys.

All in all, Voros knew it was a questionable hit and he knew he would have to answer for it, which he did. Voros was the only one to land a punch, so if a winner is to be decided, it would be Voros with the only distinguishable shot.

I'm sure if someone like Brookbank challenged him he would have obliged, because he would do the same to protect his own team. Voros may not be a good fighter, but he is always willing to go. And that I respect.

Nothing to the fight. Hard to say if Voros was really trying to hurt Stall, I think he could have made it a lot worse.

Annoncers are obviously homer idiots. They are talking like it's a gang fight and the Carolina Pussicanes are some kind of tough team? Scott Walker? Uhhh....NO

Punk hit from Voros - He will get his -

See, this is exactly the problem with the instigator rule. Voros takes a dirty shot at Carolina's best player from behind. Some body has to jump in and defend him, but he winds up with an instigator and a misconduct...just doesn't make any sense to me

Cole... not a fighter. Still good to see him stand up. Canes announcers are pretty clueless. I'm sure the Wild, with Boogaard, Simon, Voros, Fedoruk and Veilleux, give a damn who is in the Canes lineup. And that stands regardless of their own injuries.

Voros landed the only real shot in a non-fight. Draw.

Big Goon - Yeah, it could've been a lot worse...see the hit on Patrice Bergeron for just how bad it could have been. But if Voros doesn't give him the extra shove, he might have only gotten two for it. Even then, there would've been hell to pay...good on Cole for jumping in and sticking up for his man.

That looked just like the hit that broke Cole's neck, so when he saw that cheap shot he went straight after Voros. Besides that it wasn't much of a fight, Scott Walker should have beat Carney's ass.

Didn't see much fighting, but it was a cowardly hit by Voros!
