Shelley roughs up Kaleta near the benches and along the boards-sending the him to the ice. Peters skates towards Shelley-has words with him, and they square off near the Blue line. Shelley grabs with the left-throws a right that hits Peters shoulder. Shelley continues with 2 Jersey jabs with no effect. Shelley comes around with another right missing target. Peters is just beyond arms length-leaning away like his usual textbook fighting style dictates. Shelley continues with mini jersey jabs and throws another over the top right-missing again. Peters finally counters wih a right of his own hitting Shelleys chest. More jersey jabs-then Shelley throws a right-only grazing Peters. Peters throws a right-hitting mostly helmet-maybe catching some of Shelleys ear. Peters is now leaning forward-half bending down-and Shelley connects with a right hitting the back of Peters helmet. Peters goes down to both knees and Shelley leans into him with his right shoulder as Peters is going down-face down to the ice. The refs break up the fight, and Peters has a animated convseration with Shelley-though Shelley has few words to say, and looks pretty passive.

Average NHL fight. Shelley with the clear win. Peters didn't have much activity in this one. Alot of Shelleys punches weren't effective, but he did enough to garner the win here.

Andrew Peters was doing a lot of jawing during this game, but he fought a young kid (Sesito) and later Shelley, and I didn't see Peters land a single punch on either one of them.

i know Peters was already hurt by the time he got a chance to fight Shelly.
Has never had any problem with him in the past.
Sat out the remainder of the preseason because of it.

Looks like the whiny homers are out in force ! Hey Dover ... did you happen to see that tough guy Boll jump Sekera, a guy with 0 fights ? Hello pot ... this is the kettle calling ....

Hey Jack a$$. Are you talking about the same Peters that jumped on a goalie after he just got done fighting somebody? Yeah Peters is a stand up guy . At least the 20-year-old Boll did not jump a goalie like Peters did. So who is the kettle and who is the pot?

Columbus gets revenge for Peters' third man in cheap shot on Jared Boll two nights earlier. This fight was all Jody Shelley.
