| Nov 9, 2001 | Toronto Maple Leafs | Tie Domi |
| 1pd 10:24 | New Jersey Devils | Randy McKay |
| They start scrapping behind the net. McKay gets off the first few shots, about 4 rights that land, but nothing major. Domi then comes back with the lefts, and he lands some good hard punches, maybe 5 or so. One punch/push (it wasn't a square-on punch) puts McKay on the seat of his pants on the ice, and Domi didn't stop punching right away. He kept going after he had knocked McKay down. Perhaps he thought this would make up for turtling against McKenzie, but it didn't. Other Penalties: Domi received an interference. | ||

McKay started with few nice rights but Domi comesback better with a nastyleft.
McKay lost his situation as Domi pushes him down and took over.
Tughir was a NARROW winner in short but exciting bout.
