Mar 01, 2007 Colorado Avalanche Mark Rycroft
1pd 01:14 Chicago Blackhawks Danny Richmond
Comments: Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other at center ice. Rycroft bends down and throws a long right while Richmond moves away from the shot. Richmond ties Rycroft up and tries to get his helmet off, allowing Rycroft to throw four overhand rights to the back and side of Richmond's head. Richmond returns fire with two short lefts. Rycroft throws three more rights while they are in-tight just before he goes down to his knees. Rycroft gets back up to his skates and proceeds to throw another right. Richmond gets in a short left. Rycroft shakes off his elbow pad and they exchange a few lefts while still wrestling around in close quarters. Richmond opens things up with an uppercut and Rycroft follows with a big right that misses. They fall to the ice and the linesmen are right there to grab them.

smart of Danny not hurting his mitts hitting rycrofts helmet. He tried a couple time to get it off but to no avail good uppercut though took his shot.

I was at this game and thought it was a very good fight. They were chatting on the draw right after the quick Chicago goal and they had a spirited bout. It looked like Richmond stunned Rycroft a with a nice left right before the uppercut.

Parker was looking for someone the whole night but no one would go. I'm waiting for Wed....Parker vs Peters in Buffalo. I'm just mad that Colorado waited till the end of the season to realize you need a heavy...Lappy would fight but you need that hard physical edge.

I swear that Richmond was trying to pull Rycroft's hair. Richmond should take off his panties next time he decides to swing and forget about the hair and lands some punches next time.

THOS GIRLY BOYS ARE SO SCARED OF BEING KNOCKED OUT THEY HUG EACH OTHER THREW THE ENTIRE FIGHT EXCEPT FOR THE LAST PUCH BY RYCROFT THAT WAS A CRAP FIGHT. WHY DID THEY BOTHER DROPING THE GLOVES IF THERE SCARED AND ALL THEY WANNA DO IS HUG? THEY SHOULD GO GET A ROOM FOR THAT NON-SENCE I DONT WANNA SEE THAT SILLYNESS ON THE ICE.
