Danny Richmond vs Daniel Carcillo

Danny Richmond is a model. He wouldn't be a Blackhawk otherwise. Oh hang on, they got Koci now.

A decent scrap between two young guys looking to make an impression. Richmond scores early with a couple but Carcillo (who iv'e read good things about) takes over throwing the only punches from then on possibly knocking Richmond down but winning either way for activity.

Carcillo flings around a bit, but I don't see anything thing landing. I'm gonna give it to Richmond...I'm still shocked that a Blackhawk initiated a fight!

Lucy, step away from the ledge...I don't think this fight signifies the end of hockey as we know it.

richmond starts off better early, getting a few punches that make contact but after he helps carcillo back up, he loses control and richmond controls much of the rest of the fight. pretty even.

Ok fight. I'm tired of this fighting style in the NHL though. What ever happened to standing toe to toe with somebody. Most of these guys protect their face like they're f**king models. Holding off your oppenent at arms length and look the other way while your opponent throws punches, then try to sneak a punch in is gay and so is this crap of fighting off the face off.
Looks like WWF sh*t to me. I can see why people that dont know anything about hockey think the fighting is staged and fake. The Laraque "miked" fight didnt make it any better. "Wanna, ok, good luck" What the hell was that!?
