Comments: LaCouture nails Strudwick with a hard hit along the boards while the two are chasing after the puck. Strudwick takes exception and grabs LaCouture. Both drop the gloves and tie up immediately. They grapple in close quarters while LaCouture attempts some locked-out lefts. Strudwick gets an arm free and connects with a right. Strudwick gets LaCouture's helmet off while they wrestle around and proceeds to throw six straight lefts with LaCouture returning fire with one of his own. Strudwick then connects with seven unanswered lefts while LaCouture tries to duck away from the punches. The linesmen quickly intervene and the fight is over.
