Thorburn's beard is totally out of control and clearly softened the blow of Stewie's punches! Great balance and a decent scrap from both guys. I gave Stewart the narrow win and wouldn't argue a Draw.

Hard to pick a winner here.....this fight was very close with both guys having their moments....scored it a 5

my boi stewart being a healthy scratch no wonder the ducks suck good draw to a man that once beat chara any way chris needs to come back to skarblackastan and have me train him again

Not a bad fight. I understand those who might go "Edge Stewart" but Thorburn acquitted himself well enough to earn a draw on my card.

that was close bout between 2 big guys..im really undecided between draw and edge stewart so i guess thats a draw then

That was a very good scrap with Stewart getting the nod. Both guys looking to use both hands and avoiding the dreaded lock out that is so common today. Seriously this deserves much higher than a 5.7 rating. I think some of you would score Tasker-Senn a 7................

Good job fellas , calling it a draw.

Posted by chad420 on January 06, 2016 at 08:39 AM

I'm going draw

Posted by Humper on January 04, 2016 at 09:48 AM

Decent scrap, I thought Stewart did just enough better to get a win here. But a draw vote is totally understandable.

slight edge to Stewart... decent scrap.

Good fight that I have to give to Stewart. He landed two dandies, one of which dotted Thorburns eyes.

Posted by slambo on January 04, 2016 at 05:09 AM

Stewart clearly landed more shots, and better ones. Had it gone on longer, thorburns nose would have been behind his left ear... Stewy/7

I thought Jesus was a man of peace, whats going on here?

Posted by Great Murray on January 04, 2016 at 11:37 AM

Heck of a fight. Neither landed a big one but they both threw some good punches. I couldn't find a winner...actually I found 2 really tough guys...I can't give both of them a win so it will have to be a draw!

Solid scrap. If I had to vote for a winner I'd pick Stewart, but I'm giving it a draw because both guys worked hard and showed toughness and durability. Thorburn is a pretty tough guy, I remember he beat Chara pretty convincingly a while back, but I'm a bit surprised he was able to hang with Stewart, who is one of the toughest guys in the league and a legitimate heavyweight who can go with anyone. No visors, punches thrown with bad intentions, no quit in either guy. Not a classic, by any means, but I like it. This is what it's all about.

Small edge to Stewart but closer than I thought it would be.Scored it a five.Considering the best fight of the year might be a 6.We are in troubled times fight fans!

Stewart got the best and most frequent connecting hits and best style.

Posted by Daysofcoleco on January 03, 2016 at 11:29 PM

Stewart twice exposes his entire right side by grabbing Thorburn's right arm with both hands in order to switch left. Thus twice exposing Thorby's ghost of a left arm.

NICE SCRAP! I thought Stewart had the edge but Thornybird is a tough customer and landed few beauties in on Stewart. Close but the WIN for Stewart.

Posted by DucksNation on January 03, 2016 at 10:05 PM

Solid scrap. Both good fighters. Nod Stewart.

Posted by Jordybats99 on December 17, 2016 at 08:26 PM

Great bout!

I'll give it a draw although I could see where some would give Stewart the win. Nice bout!

2 big lads...both experienced...even scrap

Somewhere, Coach Bombay is drinking and driving himself into another DUI as somewhere up in hockey Valhalla, Old Hans is rooting for his beloved ducks, yet Thor with his mighty Mjol...I mean flowing, glowing locks of lightning hair... battles against a mighty duck for a draw.

Stewert gets the edge here with some better connections. Good fight.

Posted by lucic17 on January 03, 2016 at 11:44 PM

Good fight by two good fighters. Glad to see some familiar faces in the fighting column tonight. Two decent scraps so far-very rare these days.

Props to sideburns for showing up against Stewart fight was a long and tactical draw Nice to see some emotion out of these 2 big strong teams

Posted by kkdowning on January 05, 2016 at 03:10 PM

Gasp, a "staged" fight off the draw!

Posted by MichaelFlyers37 on January 04, 2016 at 12:56 AM

Edge goes to Stewart, but a really good bout from two tough doo doo butts. Thorburn look like some type of animal but oh Well. Man oh man, did I eat a lot over this holiday season. Droppin bowling bowl s**ts in the Tawlit on a consistent basis. I said I'd give up red meat, but I must've ate the entire cow this past week. Good day, gentlemen
