I am not sure what message Lee really sent other than "beat me, beat me", "whip me, whip me"! Wilson with an absolute beat down. The Isles need to play much harder and much better...I was hoping to an Islanders/Rangers series...that won't be happening! Votes for Draw/Lee? Hallucinogens have over whelmed some of you. And there is no such thing as a cheap shot because someone is little or smaller. If you play this game, expect to get hit and hopefully you will be looking for your chances to do some hitting. Those of you that don't like that can line up with the minions of the hockey satan, Gary Bettman. You can get your tampons on the feminine hygiene aisle at Wal-Mart and your frilly frocks are available on Bettman's famous web-site, "Tutu's for Sissies". If you decide to give up on hockey you can practice your drag strut in San Francisco....Leave our hockey game alone!!!

Like I always say, if you are going to "send a message", you need win the fight (or at least make a decent showing). Unless your message is "use me for a punching bag of shyt". Way to send a message Lee! Wilson with the easy win.

All Wilson, Lee bit off more than he can chew here, but props to him for trying to send a message. This was more a job for Matt Martin, would've been a better fight.

Message received ... win for Wilson!

Lee did a masterful job of catching some shots......Wilson steamrolls him here.....easy victory for wicked Wilson

A nice workout for Tom on Anders the Speed Bag.

Props to Lee for answering the bell but, Wilson feeds him a few.

Lee has guts and tangles with Wilson in this spirited scrap. Looks like Lee got banged up by the big kid. Win for Wilson.

Posted by DARCY T on April 25, 2015 at 09:10 AM

wilson caught lee pretty good with his second right and lee just tried to hang on after that.wilson missed with majority of his punches but did enough to win the fight funny that this was lee's 2nd fight in nhl and wilson's been his only opponent so far.and also funny how wilson was crying for instigator penalty

Posted by Vinnieluvv on April 23, 2015 at 08:50 PM

Wilson with clear win. All you Lee voters are smoking crack.

Posted by mrpowers535 on April 23, 2015 at 11:14 PM

lee was the instigator and got his much fed to him

Posted by DanielleinDC on April 24, 2015 at 10:32 AM

Lee got in a few licks early and may have made Wilson bleed, but from then on, it was all Wilson. In the box, he was clearly asking why there was no instigator penalty.

Lee makes what proves to be a poor decision, and suffers the consequences. Not a particularly interesting bout, but hey - it's the playoffs, so we're lucky to get anything.

Posted by bobowen34 on April 23, 2015 at 08:26 PM

All Wilson in this one

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on April 24, 2015 at 01:32 AM

Good nasty playoff scrap, win TW

Posted by kkdowning on April 24, 2015 at 01:55 PM

Mr. Lee fared better in the first fight -- mainly because Wilson didn't realize that he was in a fight back then. This time, however, Mr. Lee served as a heavy bag for a Wilson work-out. All Wilson. I admit that I wish that Martin has roughed up Brooks Laich for Laich stupidly running his mouth in the press.

All the boo-hooing over the Visnovsky hit last game someone jumping Wilson was inevitable. Surprised Lee was the guy. Gotta respect him for tangling with a much more experienced fighter and salvaging dignity with a takedown at the end.

Posted by igor79 on April 24, 2015 at 02:25 PM

Lee got in one punch and got destroyed by Wilson. If the Islanders really thought Wilson's hit was dirty they had plenty of opportunities to do something about it in game 4. Finally a guy who isn't a fighter stepped to Wilson and when he lost they decided to take cheap shots at Wilson including a cowardly stick to the balls. Wilson has lost a lot of fights, but he made Lee pay for fighting him over a clean hit.

Wilson Wins pretty easily.

Posted by m4rine77 on April 24, 2015 at 03:49 AM

Really smart move by Tom Wilson keeping his arms down attempting to draw the instigator. He knew coming in that he'd have to answer for the hit on Visnovsky and does so in style as he takes on the overmatched Anders Lee. Props to Lee for sticking up for his teammate but he was simply outclassed here. Win Wilson in a spirited 5.

Posted by jnk07899 on April 24, 2015 at 12:44 PM

Note to players. Don't fight Tom Wilson unless you are an actual fighter. Lee is lucky it didn't end worse. Get Martin out there to handle stuff like that.

Posted by lot04002 on April 24, 2015 at 10:36 AM

Wilson takes a shot, but after that its all downhill for Lee.

Posted by agnostic on April 24, 2015 at 07:02 AM

Lee got the trip off but it was more a desperate attempt to stop Wilson from pounding him.

Posted by nait on April 24, 2015 at 09:16 AM

try sending out a fighter next time

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on April 24, 2015 at 09:53 PM

tommy gun

Posted by hal29 on April 26, 2015 at 10:29 AM

Nothing landed. Not sure what wilson was trying to hit. He didn't come close. I guess a sloppy win goes to wilson for being the aggressor, but honestly it wasn't like he kicked lee's ass or demolished. He was just throwing and hitting nothing. Win wilson and a 4

Posted by 5fourfighten on May 09, 2015 at 05:35 PM

Lee instigates. Lands a couple early. Wilson unleashes a barrage. Lee lands one more. They fall to the ice. Wilson took Lee to school but it was Lee who draws blood from Wilsons mouth. Yes there was a message sent. But it should have been sent by Martin or Boulton. (Who I believe should have been in the lineup against the bigger stronger Washington team) Isles were game but only the strong survive. Washington just too big and strong. Isles need to bulk up if they plan to be anything more than a one and done PO team.

Posted by The Doggfather on April 23, 2015 at 08:14 PM

Wilsons first shit stuns Lee. That was the only solid connection. Isles are chic shitt, clean hit-- Who's next for Wilson?

Posted by skyywise on April 24, 2015 at 02:05 AM

Lee isn't a fighter and it showed. Wilson handled his business efficiently.

That one was over before it began. Lee was brave to be the one who did it, but he wasn't ever going to win that one. All Wilson.

Posted by SEMO_Yogi on April 24, 2015 at 12:17 PM

LOL..not sure what message getting bloodied sends, but I guess Lee sent it.

Posted by The Wrecker Fan on May 02, 2015 at 04:46 PM

the blood belonged to Wilson

Posted by erikk3 on April 23, 2015 at 08:02 PM

gotta give props to lee for going with wilson. he landed a couple early on but once wilson got going he was hanging on for dear life.

Posted by tflaherty on April 24, 2015 at 12:16 AM

All Wilson. Lee showed he could take punches to the face tho, blood jersey for Lee at the end too.

Posted by bbout2c on April 24, 2015 at 09:55 AM

why would lee be the one to handle this situation, that's what martin is for , even Tavares would have done a better job , like the other comments before , if your going to send a message make sure its a good one! that was not! , almost to the point of ,i just got my head beat in and we lost any momentum we had, if we had any! easy win Wilson!

Posted by English_Bruin on April 25, 2015 at 12:23 PM

What was Lee thinking?

Posted by doobi1 on April 24, 2015 at 01:38 PM

Well, the punch count favored Wilson 11 to 2. Lee's 2 connected, Wilson threw helmet shots and kidney punches. Liked the fact that Lee called Punk 'Wilson out, but ended up on the short end in this one. WIN to Wilson Iguess. LET' S GO ISLANDERS and beat the bullies once and for all.

Posted by Hilaker on April 24, 2015 at 12:07 AM

Lee was out of his network in this one. I thought Wilson took a cheap shot on the little Islander last game and needed to answer for the charge. Lee was not the person to send. He landed one early but the rest was all Wilson.

Posted by ironbar44 on April 23, 2015 at 07:51 PM

non fighter did ok .certainly didn't win

Posted by msn8ive on April 23, 2015 at 11:55 PM

Why would you start a fight if you're just going to hide from the guy the whole time? I think Lee regretted that decision immediately. I'll so though, the 5 minutes of the game between this fight and the Isles' goal was definitely all-Isles. Lost the fight but won the momentum. Shame my Caps had to dismantle them afterwards.

Posted by King of Goons on April 23, 2015 at 08:50 PM

The guy who bleeds loses. That's just how it works.

Posted by bigdaddyluke on April 24, 2015 at 10:37 AM

One Shot by Lee then a straight beat down from Wilson. Whole NY team went after Wilson and he took every shot they had and smiled about it.

Posted by Jez-x on April 23, 2015 at 07:53 PM

So glad Islanders took revenge on Wilson's cheap shot on Visnovsky in the last game. This was a draw but love that fact Wilson was bleeding at the end of it all.
