In the twinbill that wasn't, Neil and Subban show what I dislike about each. Neil goes after a star non-fighter in Pacioretty. Subban throws a gloved punch on a guy on the ground to open... then he and Boro-whateverhisname tire out and looks like it'll be broken up... and then out of nowhere PK starts it up again after his guy lets his guard down. Neil is a tough customer and Subban a great defenseman, but this stuff causes me to have less respect for them than I should. I'll give the win to Boromir in the slopfest.

This was an add on scrap to the goon job Neil was trying to do on Max Pacioretty. They spend most of the time hugging and missing punches then look like they want to stop. Subban pulls Borowiecki out to continue and as a result eats 1 or 2 and gets manhandled and loses the fight. Who is going to take care of this business for Montreal this year. We all know that Max Pacioretty and P.K. Subban are not the right men for that work!!!

I watched this fight to see all the Subban hating, but it turned out that was pretty fun line brawl / roughing fest.

You could argue about this being a mismatch, but that fight could have ended a lot earlier had Subban not tried to throw some cheap punches in when the refs came to break that up. Borowiecki with the win, in a pretty sloppy fight.

I have no dog in this fight but it is good to see that some things never change. Neil with his usual gooning it with the non fighters, while Subban once again shows that he couldn't beat an egg if it looked him in the eyes.

Borowiecki coming back from a hand injury had no choice to defend himself. Subban baited him and caught a d-man at the end of his shift. Coward attack with a sucker punch to start the melée.

After getting sucker punched from behind by Borowiecki, Subban did pretty well for himself even though he was still stunned from getting cold-cocked in the back of the head a moment ago.

Gotta love teams getting annoyed with the Habs whiny, poking, and prodding way of hockey and then beating them into the ice for it. Stop whining, Greatmurray, Patches can be a thorn in guys sides and guess what Neil is a no nonsense guy, old school, and I'm glad he got rag dolled.
