Fight's as close to a DRAW as you can get. Bruin's homers will all vote Lucic. Lucic haters will all vote Prout. No one will vote DRAW. Lucic with 2 goals in the game and the Bruin's with the win. Best fighter/player in the league and any one would want him on their team. Yet people will call him a spot picker, say he's not tough and that he has to fight Scott. There I saved you all the trouble and you don't have to read the rest of the comments. This website is far too predictable. 12/01/13 - Added note. I am actually impressed with the voting this time. Good job hockeyfights.com for actually getting it right!

Thank God for the mute button on these NESN telecast videos.

Great effort by both guys as Lucic realizes early on that Prout has power... but he composes himself nicely and goes on to eek out a close win on points Decent but not epic but props all around

Posted by fight-fan on December 01, 2013 at 03:54 PM

Close fight I'll have to call it a draw. To The King of Goofs: Actually Prout wasn't "beaten up convincingly" in any of the fights you listed. He actually has a decent fight card with wins over Neil & Jackman & a draw to Mcleod. It's very convenient how you left this info out. Anything can happen in a fight, your school yard mentality of I can beat you up because you lost to a guy I once beat up shows just how ignorant you are.

Welcome back Looch! I thought his fighting days were over. Hopefully this starts a new trend and he starts dropping the gloves more regularly.

Edge Prout . Lucic is a little bitch to go along with the WORST broadcaster in all of sports

@kingofgoons please kill yourself.

Posted by Madhouse27 on November 30, 2013 at 10:50 PM

I know the true heavyweights are intriguing, but there's nothing like a spontaneous fight between two tough hockey players. These days, any time Milan Lucic fights, it's a cause for celebration and he rarely disappoints on entertainment value. Dalton Prout is a pretty damn good young defenseman who's put together an impressive fight card against Fraser, Neil, Nystrom, McCormick, Jackman, McCleod, Rinaldo and now Lucic. Who wouldn't want him on their team These two visorless prototypes are exactly what we need more of in the NHL! Hard fought draw-slight edge Lucic (two goals in the game as well)

Posted by sulley71 on December 01, 2013 at 12:51 AM

Nice spirited tilt, Prout more than held his own. I wish the camera angle was better, it looked like Prout landed a beauty in the beginning. Going draw here.

Draw. Way too close to name a winner. 5- ok fight

agree with lucic17..seemed like Looch wasn`t all in..he needs to be steamed when he drops them..pretty mediocre all round..and yes kingbuffoon..have you been playing with mercury again !?..you think of Looch alot

Posted by mikebflorida on December 01, 2013 at 06:41 PM

Comments are entertaining as always. Lucic not as invincible as Bruin fans say he is. Draw morons. Saying "edge" Lucic means it might as well be a KO win. Too many kids voting.

Posted by [email protected] on December 01, 2013 at 09:56 PM

A rock solid draw, even from this Boston/Lucic fan. The uppercut from Prout at the end that missed was too close for comfort. Lucic really didnt land a solid punch, Prout looks like a smart fighter with great balance. How about some props for Jack Edward for a decent call ? He wasn't homerish at all, and kept it real. Gotta tip the cap when a guy does a good job, not just pile on when he goes off to wack land some times.

Posted by staceyb on December 01, 2013 at 06:38 AM

Sounds of Tom Petty's "Won't back down" were playing in the back of Prout's mind as he stood toe to toe with King Kong and held his own. Draw.

Posted by digitalroc on December 15, 2013 at 01:23 PM

I am a Bruins fan, however this is a draw. I stumbled upon Prouts recent fight, and I am quite impressed how he handles himself and as the ability to switch hands. Lucic is a beast, but this is a draw.

Posted by bruins34 on December 01, 2013 at 04:10 PM

I think Prout landed one early that put Looch on notice and stopped the stand and throw aspect of the bout. Looch landed a good one not long after. Good fight and a draw.

I was all ready with.... The Brown Prout gets filleted!" BUT NO....... I think the 2nd most surprised guy... next to me was Mme Lucic who probably figured this would be a gimme... Draw.

Not familiar with Prout, but I am now... tough dude. I'd have to call this one a draw, close fight, I might even give a slight edge to Prout, he banged Milan's mug up pretty good on a few shots. Looch doesn't drop 'em as often now that he's on the first line, good to see him shake the dust off, he's still a beast.

Posted by kyhammer on December 01, 2013 at 01:07 AM

Draw. Almost voted for Prout just to offset a Bruin homer but called it the way it is....draw.

Posted by jimmy h on December 01, 2013 at 10:39 AM

Draw. Nice to see A fight between 2 guys who can actually play the game. Prout is going through the gauntlet of fighting the tough guys to establish space and respect. He is going to have A very good career. Lucic obligated Prout A go just like what was granted to him his early years.

Posted by GreatMurray on December 01, 2013 at 09:18 AM

Good fight by both guys. Both landed a couple and both missed all of the haymakers! Good thing! It would have been lights out for someone! In the interview later it was obvious Lucic had been in a fight! Prout doesn't get to do many interviews so we didn't get to see his face. I was almost proud of Edwards! He ALMOST called a Boston fight correctly! Someday I will learn how to figure out how to pick the Boston game on DIRECT TV that IS NOT being broadcast by NESN! I love watching Boston play by I hate listening to Edward's lousy play by play.

Posted by HchVegasNHL57 on November 30, 2013 at 10:43 PM

Good entertaining scrap. I'm goin draw. I wish looch would drop the gloves a little more regularly just because more often than not it ends up being a good tilt. Props to both boys. Looch has been a beast since last seasons playoffs.

Posted by Jay Cuts on December 01, 2013 at 12:49 PM

even tilt, but both went for it. Worst commentary in all of sports, he makes it sound like two punches were landed all fight and both by lucid. only tells you when prout misses. I don't know how anyone enjoys his play by play even if they are a fan of the bruins

Posted by stephenc on December 01, 2013 at 04:45 PM

Draw all the way.

Posted by Bourbonator77 on December 04, 2013 at 08:23 PM

Solid draw. Lucic lands the one square punch, Prout gets a few jersey jabs in. Entertaining.

Posted by P. Rizzo on December 01, 2013 at 10:53 PM

Tale of the tape even, not sure if Lucic was at the end of a shift but he looked tired while Dalton looked pretty fresh. Draw.

Posted by bulldogs on December 01, 2013 at 10:29 AM

Milan always brings it, but he could not contain Prouts right and he's lucky it did not get beat.

Posted by bajo39 on December 01, 2013 at 08:59 AM

Outstanding professionalism here from both men (unexpected on the Prout side) as they each get some good licks in and stand in there despite that to put on a good show. Great work. Just what you like to see. Restores your faith in hockey after the Boyle incidents.

glad Boll finally got some help in the enforcing department.

Posted by oldtimebsfan on December 01, 2013 at 12:03 PM

Not much landed here ... although there was serious intent. Not sure why folks insist on comparing Lucic with the elite enforcers. The guy can bang and score .. create space for his linemates .. but he is not a top-tier heavyweight enforcer. So stop with the bogus comparisons.

Posted by mmadced on December 02, 2013 at 09:46 AM

draw- good scrap as ive watched prout in the AHL and he is quietly very tough. one can really tell who the pathetic canadien fans are on this site as they continue to show their bias and ignorance.

Posted by dcmac on November 30, 2013 at 11:09 PM

Lucic landed the more meaningful blows

Posted by hal29 on December 01, 2013 at 12:15 AM

I gave this to Lucifer but not by much. Not his best showing at all but enough for the win. Seems to be a bit rusty. But he always seems to be at his worse when the competition is weak. Almost. Like he isn't into it. Fights at a slower pace. When the competition is good it seems as if he puts more emotion into it. This seemed as if he just went through the motions. But he did land the better harder punches. The few that landed by either. I think sprouts escaped with a free pass in this one. King of goons making stupid comments as always. Its called envy when you don't have a lucid on your team. Ask behn Wilson I'm sure he would take lucid on his team any day. But according to you he needs to fight Scott. Same Guy who got dropped by a body shot by Orr and lost to mclaren. Hey mcquaid beat mclaren so does that put him in the talks of the orr's and Scott's. Not everyone has there best days but a win is a win. Oh by the way Scott gets his most ice time in pregame warmups.....sad

Posted by Rabid Wombat on December 01, 2013 at 12:27 PM

good bout- edge Lucic. HE clearly landed the better shots.

Posted by Bruins1337 on December 01, 2013 at 03:11 PM

Good bout slight edge to Lucic.

Posted by Destroyer on December 01, 2013 at 09:36 AM

Lucic landed 4 punches, Prout only 1. Evenly matched could have gone either way. Lucia seems to have lost his meanness that use to make him so dominant in fights.

Posted by DuxDragons15 on December 01, 2013 at 11:19 AM

Nice fight, was at the game, Lucic landed more punches, most of Prout's missed.

Posted by Highstick1 on November 30, 2013 at 10:54 PM

Good to see the big lug back in it. Prefer seeing him scoring goals, but given he's the best skill player fighter in the league, he's gotta drop them here and there. Only raving morons would suggest he fight Scott. ZERO reason to do so, but he will in the right situation.

Posted by Transitcaptd8 on December 03, 2014 at 05:34 AM

Posted by beretta804 on December 01, 2013 at 11:51 PM

You can tell Prout is more afraid of Looch than Looch is. Then again, most Bruins can kick most players asses...especially Canadians.

Posted by GSP09 on December 01, 2013 at 01:10 AM

Prout easy win.

Posted by jimmat on December 01, 2013 at 12:25 AM

I give it to Prout with a very close 6. Lucic is the premier glove dropping power forward in the league. We all would like to see him fight more, because he's good. But what's the point? There are very few guys who can hang with him who are his equal as a player. Enjoy it when he goes, probably will happen less and less.

Posted by WhyGo77 on December 01, 2013 at 08:46 AM

Draw. Lucic is great. Not a Bruins fan, but would love to have that guy on my team.

Posted by habssuck on December 01, 2013 at 12:25 AM

Lucic wins close one; huge left that almost ripped Prout's head off is the difference maker. Gotta love Jack!

Posted by lucic17 on November 30, 2013 at 10:38 PM

Ok effort by Lucic. Like him better when he fights mad. Didn't seem to be all in. Seemed ok to see the fight end. Probably only fought because it has been so damn long. I like Prout-stood in there well. I will say Lucic landed one great right and I do think Prout got off lucky. They both threw bombs but few landed.

Posted by pepsigenerate on November 30, 2013 at 11:56 PM

WOW !!!! Good showing by both men… I think Lucic found out that there are guys that can fight & go toe to toe with him, this time !!!! You can tell Lucic didn't clearly win because those two Bruin announcers didn't say anything after it was over.. Just gave you the score 2-0… Give it a DRAW … Real good scrap ….

Posted by upyours on December 02, 2013 at 10:30 AM

"Lucic with a couple of rights!!!" The toolbox announcer says this before Lucy even throws a punch. Everytime this overrated player and fighter drops the mitts their announcer orgasms as if Lucy is Dave Brown beating on a ten year old. Draw.

Posted by buzzgun2000 on December 01, 2013 at 09:34 AM

Sounds like Jack Edwards forgot to drink his black and yellow tea before the game. He actually acknowledged connections from Prout.

Posted by drummerlad_403 on December 01, 2013 at 11:05 PM

Prout has been a surprise this year with his couple of fights. This one was a draw and a pretty decent fight. Would like to see Lucic fight a little more as most of his fights are pretty entertaining.

Posted by Broons66 on December 01, 2013 at 05:14 AM

After several views, and even cleaning my black and gold glasses, I'm seeing a draw in this one.

Posted by claire alexande on December 03, 2013 at 01:07 AM

Slight edge to Lucic, but I can certainly see a draw. And if Cheech lost every fight for the rest of his career, I'd still love him for making Alexandria Burrows cry in the 2011 final.

Posted by boxcarwillie on December 13, 2013 at 12:06 AM

Lucic landed better in a very close fight. Prout has a concrete jaw, and landed a few of his own. I haven;t seen much of this kid, but he IS in Columbus, so that's understandable.

Posted by ssully1618 on December 03, 2013 at 12:05 AM

Good fight lucic better shots. Prout landed some too. W lucic

Posted by rocky7482 on December 02, 2013 at 05:44 PM

Great fight and draw. It's too bad we have to listen to these idiot homie announcers. Prout nails him with a hard right and the talking head is babbling about the miss lol.

Posted by Silent Partner on December 01, 2013 at 08:23 AM

Lucic normally skates off in a rampage when he wins a fight. Not so this time. Hence.......win Prout.

Posted by GoonVisor on December 01, 2013 at 09:24 PM

Born B's fan, but just can't give this one to Looch. I voted Prout to offset the Boston bias, but I saw a draw here. 5

Posted by Hilaker on November 30, 2013 at 10:44 PM

I think it was close enough for a draw and a 5.

Posted by tyrone on December 01, 2013 at 01:05 AM

I think Prout, but I'd have to ask mcb789

Posted by srehm1 on November 30, 2013 at 11:10 PM

Looked like Prout landed slightly better in this one.

Posted by kinga101 on December 01, 2013 at 12:55 PM

Some heavy punches thrown by both but not much really landing. Slighest of an edge to Prout who was forcing the action a little more.

Posted by Blackbeard101 on December 01, 2013 at 01:14 AM

It's obvious that the Bruins homers are out in full force. Prout landed more and heavier shots and did more damage as evidenced by Lucic's swollen lips and nose. Nice hard hit on Lucic by Prout against the boards, but I guess Lucic feels that he can hit whoever he feels like it, but when someone lays a good hit on him, its unacceptable. I think Lucic was surprised when Prout smacked him with a solid right at the outset. Decent fight, but Prout with the clear edge in this one.

Posted by irishdefense on December 01, 2013 at 04:44 PM

Lucic is one of my favorite fighters in the nhl but seriously, how on earth could anybody score this for Lucic?

Posted by 1E21 on December 01, 2013 at 12:25 AM

I like the "Oh s**t! I dropped the gloves with someone that can actually fight." look that Lucic had on his face. If Lucic would have known that Prout could actually throw them, he would have sheeped away like he and Chara both do these days.

Posted by Hands of Stone on December 01, 2013 at 08:51 PM

Draw.

Posted by MBsez on December 01, 2013 at 10:36 AM

A rematch would be great - but Lucic will never dance with Prout again. He got more than he expected ..... poor Milan.

Posted by philspring16 on December 02, 2013 at 10:33 PM

Not sure Lucic, was expecting Prout to be throwin as hard and fast as he was...decent tilt...two above average scrappers!!

Good tilt, slight edge to Prout

Posted by bigjcc526 on December 01, 2013 at 08:32 AM

Posted by kkdowning on December 01, 2013 at 12:22 PM

Nice job by both guys, going draw -- almost gave the edge to Lucic as a reward to Jack Edwards being as close to impartial as I have ever heard him, but then thought better of it (as he won't ever read this comment anyway, so why reward him?)

Posted by jedwardmac on December 02, 2013 at 10:23 AM

Say what you want about Lucic, he is one of the most composed fighters out there.

Posted by Wooly on December 02, 2013 at 02:49 PM

Posted by boldbilly on December 01, 2013 at 02:13 PM

nothing much to say here except this was a good fight........very OBVIOUS draw.....as usual Boston ballot stuffers working feverishly trying to steal the victory for Lucic.........Lucic looks real rusty in this fight and I think Prouts power may have surprised him. gave this fight a solid 6

Pretty even scrap, Lucic needs to stick with the middle weights. Prout was about far as Lucic can go in size. Anybody who thinks he can hang with McGratts, or Scott is a homer.. Explains why he and Chara cherry pick their spots, Thorton doesn't.

Solid draw as Lucic changes it up by going with someone his own size....

Decent bout. No real advantage to either guy here. Draw or minor Lucic victory.

Prout by a hair.

All the BroonsGoons must be online tonight to give it to Lubitch. He probably didn`t know Prout and figured he could have another easy win. Oops. Prout win or draw. Definitely not a Lubitch win.

intensity was good,...as was the arm-locks inside the tangle, so no bullseyes here,... Lucic (IMO) should be better, but in his defense, doesnt fight as much as he should to be at top form... an angry, strategic draw, w/Prout almost scoring some big right hands that would've rocked the Cup winner like he needs to take fighting serious again..it's all a show for Lucic now, he doesn't care to prove it anymore, which is NO crime in this ERA of hockey,..just sayin. draw, and your check is ready in the a.m...

Some of the bitter Habs fans here should stop acting like jilted whiners anytime Lucic does anything....or at least wait until he bullies your pathetic team again.

I got to watch the slow-motion replay of this fight: The frightened look on Lucy's face and the way she was grimacing (without even getting hit) speaks volumes. The best punch of the fight was a roundhouse left by Prout that landed squarely on Lucy's jaw. Even Jacka$$ Edwards had to concede that one (although the putz called it "a quick jab by Prout scores"). I think Lucy might have suffered a broken nose as well, judging from the way her nose was purple and crooked when she was sitting in the penalty box. Good scrap and a close bout, but win for Prout over the resident coward of the NHL. To put things into perspective: Not taking anything away from Prout's toughness, but this is the same Dalton Prout who has recently been beaten up convincingly by Eric Nystrom, Mark Fraser and Cody McCormick. What does this say about Lucy Girl's reputation as a fighter? Can anyone say: Overrated.
