Dorsett fights Boyle's battle for him even though Boyle is only a foot taller. Rangers need a heavyweight or at least a big dog in the yard.

Posted by staceyb on November 25, 2013 at 08:29 PM

K2 clocks D2 right on the beak.

Posted by Jflah53 on November 24, 2013 at 01:42 AM

The word "EMBARRASMENT" is not in Boyle's vocabulary… When a guy that is at least a foot smaller & about 60 lbs. lighter has to stick up for you…….. Now that Prust is gone, Boyle gets to "sweep away the sticks & gloves" for the fearless Dorsett….. Dorsett took his lumps on this one……….. Why Boyle is even in the NHL is a mystery…..

The fish called Wanda absolutely destroys the leagues' worst mustache with clean hit and then puts his head down and proceeds to kkk...kill the willing but ever-hapless Dorsett

Klein fights once a year, and Dorsett can't even beat him.

Posted by canada bomber on November 26, 2013 at 06:53 PM

ppl are soo stupid. yu chirp boyle for getting dorsett to fight his battles. obviously you didnt play sports the job of a fighter is to fight his team mates battles. and when yu here a big boom and see your buddy ( your teammate) on the ice yu fight. hows boyle gonna defend himself when hes just getting off the ice and 20 feet away. i didnt see him go ask dorsett to fight. stupid ppl commenting that dont know what its like. easy win for klein, head down throw bombs

Ouch. Tony Dorsett would have fared better. What a punching bag!

Posted by EGodard49 on November 23, 2013 at 10:49 PM

Gotta love Dorsett stepping in for his teammate… Took a decent shot for his efforts too… Both of them looked like they decided to just keep throwing until someone drops, which didn't take long.

Posted by Joceron on November 25, 2013 at 12:10 PM

Ouch, NYRangers need a heavy in a bad way, esp if they want to keep Nash / Kreider healthy all season

nice hit, good win.

Posted by GreatMurray on November 25, 2013 at 07:30 PM

The linesmen have to stop this madness. I promise you Dorset wasn't done.

Posted by ironbar44 on November 24, 2013 at 12:20 PM

down goes DORSETT as usual

Posted by johnkos on January 26, 2014 at 12:11 AM

Klein beat Dorsett to the punch. Threw them often and many.

Posted by Orr Fourever on November 24, 2013 at 09:30 AM

Win for Klein. That was embarrassing for the Rangers. Wonder if Avery would come out of retirement. Hahahahahahahaha

Posted by kellsteener on November 25, 2013 at 09:22 AM

Somebody should tell Dorsett he weighs 175

Posted by chad420 on November 25, 2013 at 11:12 AM

Allday Calvin Klein

Posted by pdickinson on November 24, 2013 at 01:31 PM

Was at the game and the fight went longer than this replay shows. Klein dominated the whole fight.

Posted by MeatPlow on November 23, 2013 at 11:08 PM

Nothing against the Rangers But i love seeing Dorsett get beat. He is truly a donk and the Rangers need a true enforcer. Good luck this year New York, you need it.

Posted by Jellyczar on November 23, 2013 at 10:50 PM

Klein clobbers Dorsett who hasn't won a fight in years.....

Posted by skipjack fan on November 24, 2013 at 02:22 AM

dorsett challenged and klein answered by ringing dorsetts bell

Posted by rangers16 on November 24, 2013 at 08:49 AM

Love Dorsett, he'll go after anyone. Klein gets the best of him here though.

Posted by bberg on November 24, 2013 at 11:12 AM

the rangers are a marshmellow factory, dorsett as there enforcer lol. you cant tell me that av doesn't see this ,what a slap in the face to such a strong original 6 organization. they have plenty of muscle In Hartford, and they keep boyle, pyatt, poliout! sather I know you cant be that stupid to let this go on! See you on the golf course in april!

Posted by busschermeer on November 24, 2013 at 01:07 AM

Wow, embarrassing for Dorsett against a non-fighter.

Posted by DARCY T on November 25, 2013 at 03:06 PM

wow, quite an impressive effort and win by klein for a guy who fights once per season...but i would like to see them continue fighting.linesmen stepped in too quickly

Posted by canamrugby on November 24, 2013 at 06:47 PM

Bit of a slip from Dorsett gives Klein the W in a short but energetic bout.

Posted by b.t.wilson on November 23, 2013 at 11:05 PM

Klein! You my boy! After playing way above expectations and showing what they are capable of, my Predators inevitably revert to being the Predators and with it the rollercoaster inconsistency that frustrates us to Hell and back. Thanks Kevin, for giving us something to cheer about tonight. Decisive V.

Klein with a nice win over Dorsett. Borderline kd.

Posted by rocky 1 on November 24, 2013 at 05:52 PM

Klein puts Dorsett on his seat with a nice right for the win!

Posted by boldbilly on November 24, 2013 at 09:34 AM

The Boil or in this case the Boyle got lanced here. UNKNOWN UNTILL THIS MOMENT..........Kevin Klein is a great actor and now we know him to be a pretty good fighter also........maybe he'll do a hockey movie. Wow seriously Klein smokes the wanna be Dorset ......if I was him I'd be embarrassed. beaten by a fashion designer......oh wait that's wrong too.....mixed him up with the better known Calvin.........lol Easy win for mister Klein

Posted by bboyer on November 23, 2013 at 10:56 PM

Dorsett got smacked down

Posted by ChiefBigTom13 on November 24, 2013 at 11:42 AM

Who knew Klein could throw them like that??

Posted by Christman on November 24, 2013 at 08:43 AM

Win Klein - good to see Dorsett stick up for his team mate though

Posted by francoisleroux on November 30, 2013 at 11:26 PM

Not a lot of people realize that Klein can REALLY throw 'em... Dorsett knows now though. Klein is the Mike Keane of the NHL these days!

Why can't Boyle fight his own battles, he comes across as a lazy Prima donna in the Ranger games that I've seen over the past couple of years. He's huge, and he plays pretty dirty most of the time, and it seems like I've seen him do a lot of hanging around and doing glove in the face stuff, until the linesmen show up. Maybe I've just seen the wrong games, he bugs me. Anyways, he got flattened behind the net, and I didnt think he needed protecting. But it was a good quick fiesty fight, which I like. Dorsett usually gets right at it, he's an exciting fighter, doesn't drag it out. But he got beat up pretty good on this one

Posted by Opie Taylor on November 24, 2013 at 02:42 PM

Pretty speedy hands by Klein, over quick.

Posted by AdsSection206Goon on November 24, 2013 at 07:49 AM

Klein clobbers Boyle with a clean hit, and then proceeds to smoke Dorsett with several hard right hands, causing a KD! Double win for Kevin Klein!! AdsSection206Goon™

Posted by jcholmes on November 25, 2013 at 06:50 AM

Man, those Smerfs (Dorsett & Boyle) go down quick!!

Posted by KO22 on November 25, 2013 at 11:55 AM

Well I bet that's a decision Mr. Dorsett would like to take a mulligan on! He got clobbered.

Posted by bhamill on November 25, 2013 at 02:00 PM

Nice job by Klein. Dorsett is a good guy to have around, but you can't rely on a guy his size MAYBE 6 foot and less than 200 pounds to be your go to guy for the rough stuff. I don't know why so many people are down on him, guy will fight ANYONE including John Scott. Guys who are darlings on here like Lucic spot pick like crazy.. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have Lucic on my team, its just weird on this board sometimes.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on November 25, 2013 at 02:09 AM

Short and sweet, Dorsett eat some knuckle there.

Posted by Humper on November 23, 2013 at 10:56 PM

Due to incompetent video direction it is not possible to review the beginning of the bout. The part we do see tells us that Dorsett, as usual, gets filled in like a pie shell.

Posted by kkdowning on November 24, 2013 at 12:05 PM

It is a sad day when I root against my childhood team the Rangers in a fight, but Dorsett will do that to you. Klein and a 5

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on November 23, 2013 at 11:38 PM

Klein knocks Boyle on his a$$ then pummels Dorsett.

Posted by dustyknuckles on November 23, 2013 at 11:56 PM

Lol Sit down door mat I men dorsett. This guy is a joke he wins his first fight of the year now he thinks he is the man... Why dorsett thinks he should be the one to fight on boyles behalf is beyond me he just proves once again he can use his face to block as many opposing punches as possible... Dorsetts stats are 1w like 10 losses and like 234 punches successfully blocked with his face.. He needs to stop embarrassing himself... Like i said he is this year crombeen... We know who won Klein
