This time, his mutant reach wasn't a factor,
as Simmonds gets tagged by the energetic,
yet, erratic, ''hit, and miss'' approach of
a guy, who, along with Ryan White,
needs to change barbers, yesterday.
If I can make a suggestion to Paul Holmgren, assuming he or someone working for him reads hockeyfights.com, it would be to pick up Derek Dorsett from the BJ's this summer. The Flyers need a grinder like Dorsett to take on the Prusts and other light heavyweights while not skating like a slug on the fourth line (re: Jody Shelley). Dorsett has 10 goals this season and that's some nice offense from a guy who wasn't even drafted.
Pretty even affair until Martin's over/under sealed the deal. Simmonds realized he didn't have enough gas left in the tank to get out of Martin's arm-lock, honorably admitted defeat, and called for the zebras.
