Laich is the only Cap making any effort whatsoever. He wins a crap fight. The owner needs to send his WHOLE Russian contingent back to Minsk. Maybe if the Russian Mafia owned the team Semin would grow a pair and Ovechkin would remember that he is part of a team. And how about Green...they've made a huge deal about him. He is a liability on "D" and I have scored more goals than he has (1 in a Rec League) since he has been back.

not much of fight.laich threw 2 punches, both landed and then they fell down...smith would probably have won that if it was a longer fight but edge laich this time in quick fight and 3.

Laich landed a few solid rights when he got the early jump. I've always liked Brooks as a player, and all though he doesnt fight much, this among many things is showing why he shouldve been named captain.

Smith should give up fighting, he couldn't even beat Brooks Laich!
