Smith looks like a young Asham,
as he overwhelms a game, but ultimately over matched, Horton
in a late season attempt to, further, make his case
that he, be allowed to become the ''nexf Chris Neil;;.

I didn't bother with the NESN feed as Jack-off Edwards probably had Smitty in critical condition on his way to the emergency room of the local hospital. In this one Smitty drilled Horton with several stinging faceshots.

Wow, what a scrap, Horton has nothing to gain and everythng to lose, but thats hockey. Score it an 8.

Great fight to end their regular season...
I feel Smith had the better jersey grip to control Horton.
Would have liked to see Horton work more on the inside rather than trying to throw over Smith's grip.
Props to both though Win goes to Smith for the better punches landed.
Gave it a 7.

Good scrap...Fortunately, Horton didn't hurt himself. But Smith got him good a few times....

The linesmen didn't step in because they didn't want to upset the visitors of hockeyfights.com. Great fight, I have to agree about Horton fighting so close to the playoffs, but I'm glad he did. May as well go in blazing. I was going to give the win to Smith but Horton came back valiantly, I can't with a clear conscience say anybody lost this. Draw, 8.

Nothing to do with this fight, but I just watched a Dropkick Murphy's video for "Going Out in Style" with Bobby Orr, Shawn Thornton, and Milan Lucic in it. Pretty damn sweet...

Now that's an entertaining fight. Two tough guys who like throwing 'em with little thought to defense. Smith had some great moments in the first part of the fight and Horton kept on coming, rallying in the second half. I think Smith landed a few more shots but Horton may have landed the harder ones. Tough to score, as in boxing do you like volume of punches or harder ones. Going with a draw. Neither of these spirited combatants deserves an L in a bout like this one.

Now that was a fight!! That was way more entertaining and energetic than almost any "hired gun" fight. Love to have Horton on my team, but the guy on my team beat him tonight in the best fight of his less than stellar fight career!! That kind of fight rallies both benches and fans alike!!!

Great fight; credit to both players, but Smith with the win.

Awful commentary
No way does Horton weigh 230lbs
Both guys were winners here

Smith won this bout on points. Jack is such a homer.
