Been totally unimpressed with Bass all season,
but this time out, he, somehow, manages to grapple
his way to a draw against a player, ten times his pay grade.

The fight was a draw, but any time a Bass-like player takes out a Getzlaf-like player for 5 mintues, the win goes to Bass' team

Looks to me like Getzlaf went after Bass. Announcers should look at the replay before judging it. Getzlaf is no stranger to fisticuffs anyway.

But not much of a fight. I do like "stars" who throw down, so Getzlaf gets props in my book.

WTF is this announcer talking about? Bass tries to seatbelt Getzlaf to keep Getzlaf from unloading on him then tackles him once Getzlaf gets going.

Just because a guy is less talented doesn't mean he is a better fighter.
