I'm going to stop watching hockey if every hard hit results in a fight.

Retribution fight, Getzlaf made his point but the fight was a draw.

Looked like a soft porn movie. Getzlaf takes him in the missionary position, then lifts him up and takes him from behind until Barker returns the favour and gets Getz from behind to finish things off. Gotta call that a disgusting draw.

If Barker had kept his arm down, should have been no problem. Slight edge to Getzlaff. There must be some frustrated guys in the Ducks locker room

Mr. Sedinfan and I don't agree on much, but he called it perfectly.... I mean, perfectly. And with names like Barker and Getzlaf, they sound like a couple of hobbits straight out of the Shire in Lord of the Rings.... "My precious!!!"

Getzlaf early and Barker late for a draw.

As I started watching this I was embarrassed for Barker, thinking to myself "Where the hell did you learn how to fight?" Then somehow, he managed to turn the tables and actually (maybe? - couldn't tell for sure from camera angle) land a couple good shots. Getzlaf should tell little Blake to keep his head up skating through the slot...he deserved to get flattened. I'm giving this a draw.

Not sure what this was, but somehow non-fight Barker manages to win despite having to punch his way through non-fighter Getzlaf's shield....

there was no elbow on that hit!!!!getlaf with the visor finds someone with the same average of pugilistic talent to let loose of the horrible season he just had.

I agree with the fights after clean hits thing. In the old days, a guy like Mike Robitaille or Mike Ramsey would lay a guy out with a clean hit and the attitude of the hittee was, "Ok, you got me. I got your # and I'm going to line you up with a big hit later." That was good stuff. Take it like a man, and get someone back cleanly later. However, I also kinda feel, as a fight fan, and as Darwinian theory weeds out useles goons like Shelley, MacIntyre, etc, we should be happy that these fights erupt. Without them, we may go from one fight every 3 games to one fight every 10.

Getzlaf looked to land one or two early then Barker came back late after the tumble with a couple. Nothing of real significance landing from either guy. Draw all the way.
