This was in direct response to Dion Phaneuf's jaw-jarring open ice hit on the Sens' rookie Stephane DaCosta. Neil went after Phaneuf but Schenn interceded. Neil manhandled Schenn but it cost him a lot of time in the dressing room.
If the Sens could take their third period efforts in the first two games and spread it out over an entire game they might have a good hockey team. Hate to say it, but Sergei Gonchar is finished. The same goes for Chris Phillips.
There's a part of me that likes Neil for what he brings to the team...but NOT when he pulls Sh!t like this.
Going after a so called "less talented" fighter.
Want more respect ? Go after ORR, or at least Komisarek !
Well Don apoligized for the word but I sure won't.....Chris Neil is a PUKE!!!!!
He;s a good for nothing.....He can hang in there with some boys but seems to show that he doesn't step up in the proper manner when he should....
Beating up and mugging Luke Schenn a non- and ****ty fighter does absolutely nothing to spark your team other then make the smaller players he is supposed to make play bigger.....Run scared .....If he wont step up with THE Man ......who will????
an expected action from Christina Neil. gutless gutless non tough guy, similar to Avery, not willing to fight a tough guy but has no problem going after non tough guys. Cowardly just like a senator would be. watch how quickly he soils his shorts when orr challenges him. Avery, Kaletta, Neil, Cooke, Lapierre, (Jarrkko) Ruutu, all in the same category.
Chris Neil is a loser. Why does he continue to fight guys that don't fight? If I was Ron Wilson, I'd pay Orr extra to sucker punch Neil in the throat and continue to do so until the refs intervened. Neil is a coward.
These guys don't like each other, having fought 2x prior. Schenn wanted this as well, and if he didn't he should not have got in Neils way!! Neil fought Shelley, Goddard, and Orr, and |Chara last year!! I love how people say that he "never" fights the big boys!! Give it up, you would love him on your team!!I Win Neil, as expected.
