Lucic runs into Ivanans along the side boards. Ivanans takes exception and challenges Lucic, who decides to accept. They drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other. They go back and forth with rights to start the bout. Luic throws two more rights that come up short and Ivanans answers with an overhand right in between the shots. They go toe-to-toe with rights for a second with both of Ivanans punches landing. Ivanans misses over the top with a right and Lucic counters with short rights of his own. Lucic then wrestles Ivanans down to the ice and the linesmen are right there to break things up.

Greene grabs ahold of Ritchie and gets in an uppercut. Greene then lands an overhand that knocks Ritchie's helmet off before slamming him to the ice.

Burish pumps away with some jersey-jabs just before Drake answers with a flurry of four rights to the side and back of Burish's helmet. Burish attempts an overhand and then loses his balance, allowing Drake to get in three more rights while Burish is falling to the ice.

Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and Nichol comes charging at Carcillo. Carcillo throws a right and Nichol goes down to his knees for a moment. He gets back up and takes another right from Carcillo. They then go toe-to-toe with rights for a couple of seconds until Nichol falls to the ice once again. Carcillo gets in a few rights while they are down but the linesmen quickly step in and separate the two.

Allen bumps Clarkson in front of the Panthers' net, knocking his helmet off. Clarkson takes exception, drops his gloves, and grabs Allen. He then lets go to allow Clarkson to drop his stick and gloves. They latch on once again and Allen throws two quick rights. Clarkson comes back with a whipping right that grazes Allen. Clarkson then throws an uppercut, but loses his balance and falls to the ice. He gets back up and takes a right from Allen. Clarkson tries an uppercut once again and throws two overhand rights behind it. Allen switches hands and throws a left. Clarkson counters with a right but falls to the ice for a second time. He quickly returns to his feet and Allen throws a wild left. They exchange lefts just before Clarkson wrestles Allen down to the ice.

Belak shoves Sutton to the ice along the boards. Sutton gets back to his feet and exchanges words with Belak, resulting in the two dropping the gloves. They grab ahold of each other and Sutton throws a right to start things off. Belak returns fire with three of his own. Sutton responds with a flurry of six straight rights to Belak's head and body before Belak can answer back. They keep their distance from each other and go back and forth with long rights that come up short for the most part. Belak connects with a body shot and an overhand right. They then decide to hold on until the linesmen are ready to intervene. Other Penalties: Kris Newbury received an unsportsmanlike conduct.

They exchange a few more rights each on the ice until the linesmen jump in and break things up.

They drop the gloves and Kovalchuk throws two rights at a bent over Stafford. Stafford fires back with a right. Kovalchuk gets in two more rights while Stafford falls to the ice.

King gets the better of the exchange. Hordichuk continues to throw while King shakes off his elbow pad. King switches to the left and the two start going toe-to-toe once again until they end up against the glass. They tie up and King takes Hordichuk's helmet off before connecting with a short left. They then each throw one last right hand before deciding to hold on until the linesmen come in.

Lapointe attempts a few locked-out rights, but can't get anything going. Davison misses with a right over the top. They go back and forth with quick rights while each fighter tries to tie the other one up. They come together in close quarters and wrestle around until Davison slams Lapointe to the ice.

Carcillo turns around and throws a wild right hook that is off the mark, knocking them off-balance and to the ice where the linesmen are awaiting their arrival.

They tie each other up and struggle to get loose. Murray throws a short right and they continue to grapple. Laperriere gets his left free and throws four to the back of Murray's head. They each get off some lefts. Murray gets Laperriere bent over and gets in three rights while he wrestles Laperriere down to the ice. Once they hit the playing surface the linesmen are right there to break things up.
