King gets in an uppercut and they start throwing jersey-jabs once again. King gets the better of the exchange this time around. Shelley throws a right to the back of King's head while they are grappling in tight. King gets Shelley bent over to the side and throws four short lefts before the linesmen decide to move in and end the fight. |

Brashear leans in and connects with a quick right that knocks Laraque's helmet off just before they grab onto each other. Laraque throws two quick lefts of his own and then tries to wrestle Brashear to the ice. Laraque throws another left and they fall to the ice. The linesmen are right there to grab them and break things up. |

| Scott Niedermayer hits Kyle Calder along the boards just as the horn sounds to end the first period. Mathieu Schneider goes after Niedermayer and a scrum develops. Scott Niedermayer and Mikael Samuelsson wrestle along the glass while Rob Niedermayer tries to get ahold of Samuelsson. Meanwhile, Moen and Lilja skate out to center ice and square off. Lilja grabs ahold of Moen and throws a right that Moen tries to duck away from. They spin around and Lilja throws a few short rights. Moen returns fire with a roundhouse right that knocks Lilja off-balance and to his knees. Moen gets in two more rights while Lilja tries to get back up to his feet. He eventually does, but falls back down once Moen connects with an uppercut. Moen gets in one last jumping uppercut and one of the referees and linesmen intervene immediately after. Other Penalties: Mikael Samuelsson, Rob Niedermayer and Scott Niedermayer each received a roughing. |

Laperriere loses his balance and falls to the ice with Cowan getting in a left as they are going down. The linesmen are right there to grab them and end the fight. |

| Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and grab ahold of each other next to the benches. King starts things off with three quick rights and Boogaard responds with three rights of his own that knock King's helmet off. King pumps away with the jersey-jab and Boogaard throws two overhand rights. Boogaard gets in an uppercut and King shakes his elbow pad off. They grapple in-tight until Boogaard gets loose and throws two rights to the back of King's head. Boogaard then connects with a hard uppercut that is followed up by a mix of rights and uppercuts after that. Boogaard then connects with five straight body shots with King landing a short right to the back of Boogaard's head after the flurry. Boogaard connects with two more body shots and King tries to keep him close. Boogaard gets free and throws a left cross that misses. They fight to keep their balance for a moment and Boogaard then connects with five more body shots to the left side of King. King is able to get Boogaard's jersey over his head, but Boogaard gets off a right and the linesmen intervene shortly after. |

| These two tie up near the Panthers' net. As the puck moves up the ice they drop the gloves and square off. Neil takes a righty stance, Montador a southpaw. Montador grabs Neil and quickly lands a couple of lefts. Neil grabs Montador and gets his helmet off as they begin to grapple. They grapple and Neil attempts a couple of rights, then lefts, but he can't get his arm free enough to throw a full punch. Montador throws a right that Neil avoids. Montador starts to go down from the momentum and Neil turns him around. Montador gets up and Neil throws a big right that lands on Montador's back as Montador falls again. This time Montador makes it to the ice and Neil lands on top. The linesmen come in and break it up. |

Bell comes back with an uppercut that hits Sim's shoulder while Sim turns away from Bell. Sim sticks his head down and tries three times to get underneath Bell's left arm and stay there, but each time Bell is able to hold him off. Bell throws a right to the top of Sim's head and then pulls Sim's jersey up and over his head. Bell then connects with an uppercut and a right cross and quickly sends Sim to the ice. Bell lets go immediately and starts to skate to the penalty box. Sim remains down on the ice for a moment until he is helped to his feet by one of the linesmen. |

Eager is able to tie Orr up for a moment, but Orr quickly gets free and throws a right that comes up short just before he goes down to his knees. Orr gets back up and Eager gets off three consecutive rights. Eager gets Orr turned around and Orr falls to the ice. Eager gets in a right while they are falling, but the linesmen are right there to grab them and prevent anything else from happening. Eager gets back up to his feet and exchanges words with the Rangers' bench and Orr as well while skating to the penalty box. Eager also has a bloody lip and mouth. |

| Right off of the faceoff they drop the gloves and immediately grab ahold of each other near the side boards with Orr throwing a right while they are locking horns. They exchange simulataneous rights and Orr gets in an overhand right after that. They wrestle around for a short while until Orr gets loose and throws two more rights. Orr then winds up and connects with a straight right that puts Fedoruk to sleep right away. Fedoruk falls motionless to the ice and Orr is quickly escorted to the penalty box. One of the linesman waves for doctors to come out onto the ice. Fedoruk stays down on the ice for a good five minutes and is eventually lifted onto a stretcher with a neck brace and taken to the back. |

They square off in front of the Sabres' net and grab ahold of each other. Brashear starts things off with a flurry of four lefts. Peters loses his balance and falls to the ice, but is quick to get back up to his feet. Peters comes back with two rights, but loses his balance once again and goes down to his knees, bringing Brashear down with him. They get back up and Brashear throws three lefts at the back of Peters' head. Peters returns fire with three rights while Brashear is able to mix in two lefts in between the shots. Brashear pulls Peters down to the ice and then throws five lefts to the back of Peters' head when he gets back up. Peters throws a left and Brashear answers with a flurry of seven straight lefts of his own. Peters throws another left and Brashear then connects with one final left that knocks Peters to the ice. Brashear falls on top of Peters and the linesmen are right there to grab them and break things up. Other Penalties: Peters received an unsportsmanlike conduct. |
