Beach got MAB's helmet off right away and knuckled him in the back of the head. Then MAB started going down and took a couple to the nose and face. Beach got him good and broke MAB's nose - bloodied him up good. Beach was looking for a fight and MAB should've known better due to the size variance.
I was at the game for this one. The two started jawing at eachother behind the play. Then they decided to drop 'em, locking up pretty quickly. They wrestled for position, throwing some weak shots and jersey jabs. Then Beach landed what looked like an overhand left, stunning Bergeron. Beach then proceeded to unleach a fury of upper cuts, until Bergeron crumpled to the ice. Bergeron stayed down for a bit, only to get up bleeding profusely from the ol' face hole. It took a minute or two for the officials to scrape the blood off the ice. Quick and easy domination by Beach. I don't know why Bergeron (who the Wild should have NEVER picked up) has decided to try his hand at this fighting thing, but if he continues he is going to get hurt (again). The guy is so small, that he only stands a chance against someone the likes of St. Louis. If this is Jaques' idea of team toughness, the Wild are screwed. In one season they go from the Minnesota Mafia (Boogaard, Fedouk, Simon, and Voros) to the Minnesota Meek (Boogaard and Bergeron?!?). It's going to be a long season....Thanks Jaques
