Tom Sestito landed more punches and better shots

Posted by von_swine on September 29, 2016 at 06:02 AM

you can't substitute meanness, & Tootoo fights as mean as anyone I've ever seen in my 30+ years of watching tilts.. kinda like Stan Jonathon actually..(which is a HUGE compliment) Tommy-boy reminds me of a high schooler stopping by the junior high acting tough, til some kid 1/2 his size steps up and makes him pay for his arrogance.. nice 'whirlwind' by Jordin.. #22 FTW

Sestito early, Tootoo late. Call it a draw, and aesthetically a very ugly fight.

Boy oh boy am I happy to have Tootoo on my 'Hawks this year Him and Mash together on the 4th line could make life difficult for opponents Let's just see if it works out that way..

Are you people f*cking for real? In what world did Sestito win this fight?

Posted by ironbar44 on September 29, 2016 at 06:08 PM

basically jumped him.he should have known it was coming.once he got gloves and stick out of the way.TOOTOO won pretty not seeing SESTITO wining not even a little bit.

I see the homer voting is already at mid-season form. Sestito won that fight.

Posted by FistofFury on September 30, 2016 at 01:51 AM

Tootoo gotta shed the mitts all quicker. that's weird to say.

Posted by Mounty in NC on October 04, 2016 at 10:31 PM

I see the Pens haters are out in full force early this year. I cannot stand Sesito and wish be wasn't on the team but there is no honest way anyone can say he lost this fight... at the very least it was a draw. After the Pens won the Cup last year they won't get any love on this site now. I give Sesito the win and a 3

Wow Sestito starts throwing em before Tootoo even has a chance to drop his gloves. As soon as Tootoo was in a fair fight it went downhill for Sestito. Good to see such a punchable face get punched

Posted by ssully1618 on September 29, 2016 at 11:59 PM

Is this the first time these two have lined up against eachother since 2009? It looks that way because sestito tried to get a quick jump on 22, but 22 responded well and won the fight in my opinion surprisingly since he gives up a lot of size.

Gotta give it to the little guy, and if it would have kept up, Sestito would have a few more teefers missing... Tootoo/5

Posted by 000098852 on October 15, 2016 at 12:22 PM

Sestito had better shots, however Tootoo was tangled at first. Usually it would be Tootoo trying to jump the gun. Draw in my opinion.

Posted by Biggus on October 05, 2016 at 05:09 PM

I think Tootoo is tougher and a better fighter, but Sestito got quite a few in early, so draw.

Sestito with the win

Posted by Viper207 on October 06, 2016 at 08:11 AM

The big man, while no rookie here, learns that experience is critical in these things. Tootoo lands some sweet, technical shots - although I'll still say draw after Sestito's favorable start.

Posted by bigmike53 on September 28, 2016 at 11:01 PM

Sestito did well early on when there was distance between the two men. Tootoo comes back when the fight is at close quarters and lands perhaps the best punch. I'm giving the close decision to Sestito in a decent scrap.

Sestito early, tootoo late. Sestito got more shots in so sestito with the win

Posted by KnckleSndwch on September 30, 2016 at 06:54 PM

Sestito with the close win. You have to be on crack to think Tootoo won. Draw is the only other plausible vote.

With Sid nursing a World Cup party hangover, the Penguins are forced to dress the B/C squad. As such, Setito draws in. With Brad Richards in retirement, Setito bolts on a visor and works up the courage to get the jump on a guy half his size and fight his way to a draw.

Posted by DARCY T on October 06, 2016 at 11:34 AM

i dont know what was tootoo doing at the beginning.sestito dominated the 1st half of the fight but when tootoo finally got his grip on sestito he was landing back some rights.not a bad fight for a guy who's giving up about 8 inches...draw and 6 ps: wow, i just noticed that sestito received instigator penalty+game misconduct.but it definitely looks like tootoo was going after him haha

Posted by Great Murray on September 29, 2016 at 06:42 PM

Draw Good bout by both guys. Sestito lands a bomb but Tootoo has a motor that won't stop.

Posted by tpr1960 on September 30, 2016 at 06:03 PM

6'5" puss gets the jump on someone 5'8", classless, and still loses, what a piece of sh&t Sestito is, Can he spell,... AHL??? Thats where that talentless bum will be the rest of his short career.

Posted by flyerguy on September 29, 2016 at 05:55 AM

Sestito is a worthless P.O.S !!!!! Typical penguins player of late, DIRTY !

Posted by waterguy99 on September 30, 2016 at 10:52 AM

Once Tootoo got the gloves off and the stick out of the way, he was the better man.

Nice tilt. Win Sestito

Posted by LordKOTL on September 28, 2016 at 09:30 PM

Great fight, but I gotta give the victory to Sususudio.

Posted by Kemby31 on September 28, 2016 at 09:36 PM

Sestito jumped the gun by a lot and Toots comes back hard!

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on September 29, 2016 at 07:29 AM

I'm pretty sure the feisty short guy who did NOT head to the locker room won the fight (unless Sestito got 10+5+2)

Posted by Snobalt on September 28, 2016 at 09:50 PM

Sestito landed the better punches. However, not only did he start punching before Tootoo got his gloves off, but he's also wearing a visor (which enforcers should not do if they expect to fight). Tootoo gets the win by disqualification.

Posted by double d on September 28, 2016 at 09:52 PM

Sestito is a douche.Obviously he landed more punches, but 22 is one ballsy little man, he hung in there then lands a couple bombs.

Posted by Donm8r on October 01, 2016 at 10:33 PM

Any body calling Sesito out for dropping gloves quick must not have seen their fight last year or have watched Tootoo's fights or after game comments on why he always tries to drop his mitts first. Clueless.

Posted by sedge47 on September 29, 2016 at 06:12 AM

Sestito win? Are you kidding me? He gets some shots in as Tootoo is getting his gloves off, and Tootoo just takes them full on, no problem. He's half his size! Sestito should be embarrassed not to get the early takedown. After that, he predictably absorbs more punishment. And, like a fucking weasel, he's wearing a visor.

Posted by K.O.cur_26 on September 29, 2016 at 03:03 PM

How in the fuck can anyone score this a win DooDoo??! All Sestito here, Tootoo got a few licks in the middle of the fight.

Posted by web1350 on September 28, 2016 at 11:12 PM

Close, but Sestito takes it. He landed more punches and better punches

Posted by vincentp776 on September 29, 2016 at 12:59 AM

Why is Sestito wearing a visor? He played in the NHL without a visor before they put in the new rule.

Posted by riffraff on September 29, 2016 at 11:56 PM

Edge tommy. I guess the visor is to protect the receding hair line.
