The only good thing about this video is that it is from the Anaheim feed, and not Boston's.

Chara must have been a prostitute in a previous life, everytime an article of clothing comes off, he's immediately lying on his back

Posted by Daysofcoleco on March 19, 2016 at 06:47 AM

Charo drops his gloves and immediately transforms into a giant sack of eggs and dog feces.

Posted by DucksNation on March 19, 2016 at 01:33 AM

Stoner tugs the goliath to the ice. No need for a pummel here, Chara earned the pass.

Posted by sedinfan on March 19, 2016 at 12:39 AM

Well that sucked. No one loses his balance more in fights than Chara. Stoner respects the code as he could have put Chara to sleep after he fell.

Posted by SidKid87 on March 19, 2016 at 10:30 PM

Much to do about nothing; But it may have been epic Both get 1s and Crap Fight But HUGE Thumbs Up to Stoner for showing class and respect

Posted by dapwas20 on March 19, 2016 at 02:28 PM

what fight? even Zebra's had it easy.

Posted by bigsul513 on March 19, 2016 at 02:04 AM

Ever since he fought Koci Chara's fights have been well... leaving something to be desired due to his lack of balance. 1 for a massive disappointment. On a side note, props to the strength of Stoner.

I got excited seeing a Chara fight in the box score. And with a legit heavy too! Then I saw this fight and slammed my keyboard in frustration. kkmi'm no0t0ot jo0kingkg i br0ooke it 1 & draw

Posted by English_Bruin on March 21, 2016 at 02:29 PM

Big Zee should have done better. That was a MAJOR disapointment :( That Garbutt doing shat a brick when he seen Miller go after him :o

Posted by first 6 on March 21, 2016 at 06:11 PM

Chara is still the biggest goober in the NHL. No balance or coordination what so ever.

Posted by bigmike53 on March 19, 2016 at 03:44 PM

No fight here. Nothing happened so it's a Draw.

Posted by mr. puttzo on March 19, 2016 at 03:14 AM

What BS the only real fights you'll see is in the AHL.

Posted by jerry s on March 20, 2016 at 06:00 AM

mcquaid would have been a better match but chara falls no punches thrown draw

Posted by xtraread on March 22, 2016 at 10:43 PM

good thing for stoner chara fell over

Posted by Ithinkthere4Iam on March 23, 2016 at 11:51 AM

Chara never got the chance to work his ground and pound.

Posted by cooldaddy on March 19, 2016 at 01:46 AM

Fight? What fight...lol

Posted by inasafeplace on March 19, 2016 at 10:59 AM

Those who voted anything but draw have nothing to do here.

Posted by Pep on March 19, 2016 at 11:06 AM

There was no fight

Posted by Bubbalouwey on March 26, 2016 at 12:49 PM

waste of highlight real lol

Posted by orangecuse on March 19, 2016 at 07:29 PM

now you see why Chara doesn't get in many fights he can't fight he got rag dolled like a little bitch he better go jump on a 5' 7' Hab like he normally does

Posted by Great Murray on March 20, 2016 at 03:36 PM

Stoner uses a great collar tie...and executes a great hip throw to put Chara on the ice.... BUT the NCAA D1 Wrestling Champions were in MSG last night! No points...a draw and a huge LOL at LERCH for getting put on his azz!

Posted by slavv on March 22, 2016 at 01:24 PM

Chara is a great example that his 7' size means little and a guy half that size can rag doll him.....

Posted by NotoriousT on March 19, 2016 at 01:21 AM

How the fuck were they given 5 for fighting here? In the days of old this shit would've gotten 2 each for roughing SMFH

Posted by Jellyczar on March 19, 2016 at 08:16 AM

not really a fight .... should have got roughing.

Posted by bruins34 on March 20, 2016 at 08:19 PM

Chara's never been a particularly good fighter, but at least in his younger years, he stayed on his feet for awhile and his size scared people. This wasn't really a fight but Stoner was all class for not throwing at least one shot when Gumby fell to the ice.

Posted by Buzman on March 19, 2016 at 01:43 PM

I agree with BruinsAllDaySon.

Posted by Lucic_Power on March 20, 2016 at 03:00 AM

Im a bruins fan, Chara needs to go, give Bergy the C and keep Randell in the line up.

Posted by JAMMAC on March 23, 2016 at 11:43 AM

Chara got his azz kicked

Posted by doctorvegas on March 19, 2016 at 12:24 PM

WHAT FIGHT/

Posted by smichaels10 on March 23, 2016 at 11:51 PM

Anytime Chara is in a fight and ends without anything really happening, it's a letdown.

Posted by kkdowning on March 20, 2016 at 03:16 PM

He may hunt illegally, but Stoner has guts and showed no hesitation to take on the big Chara monster.

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on March 19, 2016 at 10:49 AM

I used to get excited when Chara dropped the gloves thinking "oh man this guy is gonna GET IT" and then they all end like this. All of them. He destroyed Hal Gill like a decade ago... and that's about it for his fight card.

Posted by Nashvillewayne on March 19, 2016 at 03:39 PM

Not much to this draw.

Posted by Jaxon on March 20, 2016 at 08:31 PM

Eh !

Posted by slambo on March 21, 2016 at 05:05 AM

stoner gets the win only cause he made chara miss, nice judo throw, and had the class to let that big goofy twat off the hook when he was down. I think chara still had a couple of inches on him even after he went down... Stoner/1 Destroyer is a complete fool, and a punk bitch from Bahston

Posted by bobowen34 on March 27, 2016 at 11:14 PM

Chara wanted nothing to do with Stoner. Not sure that was even a fight.

Posted by RjBsn on March 24, 2016 at 04:30 PM

whats real funny bout this one, take a look at Chara's face at the 30 second point of video. A scared look like Stoner would cheap shot him. Chara doesn't know what to do except try to escape from someone near his size.

Posted by flyerguy on March 19, 2016 at 07:56 AM

I'll give it to Stoner because he didn't hit Chara while down, the "Fight" wasn't one ! In typical Chara fashion, he throws a wild punch, misses, and goes down so he avoids getting punched.

Posted by EdNo on March 19, 2016 at 07:51 AM

Big Z never ceases to amaze B's fans ...Dear Lord, what an uncoordinated dork he can be when he fights; Stoner should have given him a lil bitch-slap while he was down as punishment for that display of athleticism and balance

Posted by Happy2 on March 27, 2016 at 10:50 AM

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Posted by HOCKEY GOD on March 20, 2016 at 01:14 AM

Chara sucks. Retire already you old fool. Glad I didn't have to hear that dick stuffed homer Boston announcer either.

Posted by SURESHOT27 on March 21, 2016 at 10:49 AM

Stoner - Classy move.

Posted by hockeygreat8 on March 20, 2016 at 09:13 PM

I see Stoner took down another bear

Posted by von_swine on March 19, 2016 at 02:35 AM

baby giraffe gets mauled by a lowly hyena in this quick display of bad balance and predatory instinct... shame Chara never fought Troy Crowder or Twister... #3 FTW... (yawn)

Posted by tpr1960 on March 19, 2016 at 08:12 AM

Stoner should have popped the big ugly frankenstein looking idiot.

Posted by SOCALFAN on March 19, 2016 at 12:53 PM

Chara was frustrated all night so he decided to take 5 and relax. Stoner obliges his request and throws him around like a sack of shit.

Posted by fastbal on March 20, 2016 at 10:06 AM

Surprise surprise. Anytime Chara pairs up with a fighter, he falls to his back

Posted by Canner on March 19, 2016 at 12:17 PM

awkward, just awkward since Thornburn handled him 2 years ago, seems none of the heavies fears the awk any longer.

Posted by CLUB34 on March 19, 2016 at 01:41 AM

Quick story.......my 2 year old daughter takes gymnastics classes every Saturday morning and it's fun to watch. She's tumbling and jumping and doing an all around fantastic job. My only concern is, will she be able to maintain the balance required to perform certain aspects of her sport as the years go by so she can both excel as well as have her peers take her seriously? The answer is.......Zdeno Chara.

Posted by McGuffin on March 20, 2016 at 03:04 PM

Giving it to Stoner. Destroyer has no clue what he is talking about. None. Chara connected with air. Chara did lose balance, but then Stoner threw him around and down. And then Chara starts chirping on the ice. Maybe he was daring Stoner to throw one? Chara continues to chirp when he gets back up. Clown needs to learn to stand on his feet or shut up. And paranoia will destroy ya.

Posted by dogginit on March 19, 2016 at 08:41 PM

at 6 foot 9 that one big pussy.

Posted by Field6 on April 07, 2016 at 08:48 PM

finish him

Posted by tdcrump on March 20, 2016 at 03:54 PM

Stoner put the thug down on ice. No need to break his hand on Chara's face.

Posted by carneval on March 19, 2016 at 04:58 AM

Chara is just a failure... frustrated maybe but got turned over like a little man.

Posted by DARCY T on April 01, 2016 at 04:28 PM

i know chara is almost 40 and got injury problems last season, maybe that's why he went without a fight the whole last season, but i still expected him to win over stoner.it looked completely different though.it seemed like stoner was finished with him quite easily.he didint land anything but i cant call it a draw

Posted by BooSanta on November 01, 2017 at 09:19 PM

Stoner really wasn't going to hit ZED because it's his birthday. The rest of the world would clobber him because it's his birthday.

Posted by jferguson on March 27, 2016 at 09:04 PM

nice move to throw chara around like a rag doll......chara should just go on to his real career as a lumberjack....he can't play hockey so he just swings that 10 foot axe around and tries to get into the way. Always fun to watch another bruin bite the dust....only thing more pathetic than the bruins are their fans.

Posted by The Bud Life on March 19, 2016 at 12:53 AM

Chara fights always suck.

Posted by jkibler on March 21, 2016 at 09:03 PM

even the bruins fans cant claim victory! thrown to the ice like a rag doll!!!

Posted by King of Goons on March 25, 2016 at 03:50 PM

I always rate Chara a "1 - horrible" in the "how good was (players name) at the time of the fight?" category. He's big, he's tall, he's an uncoordinated doofus, and he has a heart the size of a grape. Geek has been living off the reputation of the Koci fight for a decade now. At this point everyone knows he's a lame stork that couldn't beat up a tit mouse. Chara is fortunate Stoner showed him mercy and didn't beat him within an inch of his life. It was funny to watch Chara cringe with that helpless look of fear in his eyes as Stoner hovered over him with fists clenched. Same story as the Neil fight, the Thorburn fight, etc, etc, etc. Z is a stumbling oaf with absolutely zero pugilistic skill whatsoever. Chara is just a big, goofy joke who has no idea how to fight. It's that simple. He falls to the ice and loses every time he fights in the last few years. I'd swear, the gutless giraffe bails on purpose just to avoid getting his a$$ kicked.

Posted by Don Berry on March 19, 2016 at 04:59 PM

Stoner with the throw down and the courage

Posted by toy boy dan on March 20, 2016 at 08:40 AM

I would have liked this to continue a bit longer, however Stoner did enough for the win.

Posted by lupien on March 23, 2016 at 06:43 PM

Clayton could have stoned Goliath here. Maybe Stoner will share a spliff with him later.

Posted by Orr Fourever on March 19, 2016 at 09:27 AM

Ugly fight no decision. Ducks are a most excellent hockey team...

Posted by rinkrat38 on March 19, 2016 at 09:10 AM

Draw. One jab landed by Chara; zero by Stoner. Agree no way this should have been five each for fighting. This wasn't a fight.

Posted by Mounty in NC on March 19, 2016 at 06:44 PM

Chara is a horrible fighter...he's just so tall that nobody and get close to him. I guess Bruins fans couldn't vote for a Chara win so the best they could do is vote a tie. Chara LOST!!! Get over it already!

Posted by striker2160 on March 19, 2016 at 11:23 AM

Stoner is lucky the big man fell down. At 39 he would still have no problems with Stoner.

Posted by packjets on March 19, 2016 at 10:25 AM

Not a fight, sorry

Posted by ironbar44 on March 19, 2016 at 12:18 PM

STONER could have thrown a few,but realized he would have to go again later. wise move young fella

Posted by MilburyKOMyKid on March 19, 2016 at 01:18 PM

Gotta give it to Chara. The 1 punch that touched anyone was him slightly grazing the helmet and that is sadly more than Stoner hit or threw yet people voted for him.

Posted by Helmut on March 19, 2016 at 06:55 PM

I mean are you gonna fight or not Stoner? The clenched fist at the end was ironic, why not use it when standing up? Anyone who thinks Chara couldn't have flipped him down wrestling style is crazy. This is NHL fighting not UFC. That was a crafty chicken out by Clayton.

Posted by Destroyer on March 19, 2016 at 04:52 PM

This why there should be a screening process for anyone who votes on this site. Oh my bad. Anyone, this is a public forum for mostly uneducated non hockey morons. First, the only fists thrown in this so called fight, were by Chara. Stoner instigates but instantly comes to his senses and realizes he wants nothing to do with Chara. Chara's momentum, as usual, causes him to fall. Stoner did nothing, absolutely nothing to get a single vote in this so called fight. Heck Joe diddly voting for Stoner actually put more into this fight than did Stoner. Stoner took the dive. There are usually only two outcomes when you fight Chara. 1) you get destroyed. 2) and this is far and away the most often outcome, Chara's momentum causes him to lose his balance and on his back. Idiots need not vote. Your ignorance is embarrassing.

Posted by MeatPlow on March 19, 2016 at 02:01 AM

lol. Chara keeps his feet its not going to end like that. Stoner looked for it and if Chara didn't slip then I figure Stoner is getting thumped, No shot landed just a takedown.
