Pretty much a draw here. Gave it a 5
Palooka challenges Kassian and thanks his visor for saving him.
1 of many boring heavyweight fights..draw
No strangers to each other from their days in the AHL, call it a draw. Both earned their paychecks--Kassian for the hit and then Peluso for the response.
I forgot nobody is allowed to hit anybody else anymore in the NHL...fight was a highly unventful draw.. new year same leafs2006..
These announcers kill me. I didn't know 4th line players can't check star players! The fight is a draw and a disappointment from these two guys.
Kassian more interested in getting the helmut off Peluso than he was in throwing .Peluso loses his balance and falls to the ice in a very even tilt for a draw!
I sadly predict that this increasingly annoying trend of fights beginning after a simple brush-by tap hit... will only serve to somehow supply more ammunition to the equally increasingly annoying hockey fight abolitionists As for the scrap they tried... but in the end Kassian with the edge in a sloppy display that exposed each fighter's limited individual technique
A little rasslin here. Kassian has that Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart thing going and both were throwing pretty clumsy here as if they were on whatever Neidhart got busted for a few years ago. Tilt goes to Kassian for stumbling after Peluka went down.
Kassian with just enough for the win .....it could have been better if he would have stayed on his feet
Draw until Kassian landed a left hand to Peluso's face and toppled him. It was hard to see. Had to slow-mo it to catch the shot. Win Kass.
Matt " fatDog" kassian with mustard stains on his jersey, happy for the new year and that he can get past grade 4 this year, with a sloppy display, Not even a draw, terrible fight, huggy bears.....Woof Woof !
Devilsadvocate states an important, sound point. Most of the fight was spent over Kassian attempting to remove Peluso's helmet, while Peluso simultaneously fended off the attempt then tried to readjust the helmet back to an unobtrusive position. Despite such a lackluster fight, Peluso seemed to win as he had the better attempts to do damage.
Think I saw 1 punch from Peluso land. Is that enough for a "W"? Not too sure about that. Kassian landed exactly 0 punches...
Maybe you should all watch this in slow motion kassian DID NOT win this fight peluso connected with more and at the end he missed a punch and fell but still got up on top. Kassian spent more time trying to get helmet off or battling off peluso's punches..
Not a great effort from either guy. Peluso has not had a great year.
Laffs2006 really needs some new material. You bore us. How is DribbleCup Orr doing?
Didn't see a lot of fire from either combatant, and it looked fairly even (i.e. not much happened). Slight edge to Peluso.
The helmut rule on fighting has to go. It's almost more of a disadvantage for the guy wearing one. Peluso looked like he spent half the fight trying to either adjust or remove the helmut. Just let them ditch the helmut right at the start of the fight. The visor is almost a distraction for the guy wearing it.
Peluso gets the edge in this lame ass 3
Kassian by a nose.
Close fight, but I'm voting for Kassian because he doesn't wear a visor. Why don't these guys just get smart and have an unwritten rule that both players remove their helmets before a fight, thus canceling out any man power advantage. Mark my words, it will come to this eventually, once these dummies finally figure it out. I guess most hockey players are dumb and the learning curve is too advanced for them at this point. On a side note: Hal29 is afraid of me. Ha, ha, ha!
