In an obvious win for Parros 35%of the losers from Toronto and I am assuming Boston backers voted Orr the winner ......what a bunch of as they say in Boston. Reeeetaaahhds ........pathetic

Posted by slavv on October 02, 2013 at 10:25 AM

Orr always struggles against Parros. Orr loses to him again in here....

Posted by DARCY T on October 02, 2013 at 09:47 AM

draw in one of less entertaining fight.parros was more active and kinda controlled the fight but he didnt land many

Posted by Gunslinger on October 02, 2013 at 08:55 AM

Meh. Not much to see. The refs injury was more exciting.

Posted by Panchosraider on October 02, 2013 at 10:26 AM

Too close to call and you dont get the win in my book by falling on someone!

Posted by Big_bitch on October 02, 2013 at 01:20 PM

Parros with the very slight edge for the take down. Not much to see here.

Posted by rowbearprobear on October 01, 2013 at 09:36 PM

draw. 5. really like both of these guys. nice of stache to join the rest of the guys after taking the preseason off (can you blame him?). Colton to me is one of the most exciting players in the game. Never no if he will kill the opposition or get knocked out himself with a career ender. Anyway, there is my prejudice for all to see. I'm also a Wings homer so you won't see many comments about my home team. Follow Stache on twitter if you don't already - he's hilarious!

Draw!!

Posted by cory411 on October 01, 2013 at 09:15 PM

To bad Orr skated a full shift before Parros came on.. Gave Parros slight edge because Orr wasnt using his head.. Orr should of waited for the next shift, would have tuned in porn stash...

Posted by mygameworn on October 01, 2013 at 09:04 PM

Decent fight. Nice start to the 13-14 season! Both landed a few and took a few.

Posted by BernCan on October 07, 2013 at 09:58 AM

Nice fight to get the season going 100% Draw.

Posted by 87CROSBY87 on October 01, 2013 at 11:39 PM

Only the Logo de Toilet Seat brigade votes a WINNER here.... Nothing landed = Clear draw Later on hab fan will tell you that the guy being taken off on a stretcher was the winner LOL What are they putting in that poutine?

Posted by nait on October 01, 2013 at 09:02 PM

win to the ref for getting back up after the high stick then going to ref the fight

Posted by Sea-Cow on October 01, 2013 at 09:03 PM

Two good guys duking it out, good way to open the season. Nice to see the 'Stash get a win every once in a while.

Posted by waynegibbous on October 01, 2013 at 09:04 PM

Meh...

Posted by str8up on October 01, 2013 at 10:19 PM

Parros with the take down. A couple of body shots but no damaging blows.

Posted by FitzG on October 01, 2013 at 09:12 PM

Shit fight

Posted by tyrone on October 02, 2013 at 12:43 PM

Parros slight edge. But anytime anyone can run at Pacoreitty, it's a good day.

Posted by fernben8 on October 02, 2013 at 01:57 AM

Feels good to be back folks...hope everyone had an awesome summer ! As a Habs fan, pleased to see they are NOT a push over team this year. Having said that, I still feel the Leafs have the toughest team overall. Gave this fight a 4. Not much connecting here. Giving edge to Parros for the last punch. Looking forward to reading great reviews...let us all raise the bar !

Posted by mudman55 on October 02, 2013 at 07:22 AM

Parros had the edge, but that might be due to one of the finest mustaches in all of hockeydom. It's hard to vote against such elegant facial hair.

clear win for parros

Posted by Behn Wilson on October 01, 2013 at 10:23 PM

Hey Kids Welcome back! I hope that everyone (including the haters) had a great summer as we look forward to an actual full season of fisticuffs and awkward helmet tosses One quick...Go Wings Go!... And we're off!!! Things begin appropriately as "le moustache" impresses in his Habs debut by body-punching and grappling his way to a close big-finish victory over an equally-rusty Orr "Le Magnum" and Prust aren't exactly Kordic and Nilan but it has the makings of an effective tandem that should help to keep most teams honest this season

Posted by FaxCap on October 02, 2013 at 08:34 PM

George gets in the best shots and seemed to be in control the whole fight. Parros wins.

Posted by legion31 on October 01, 2013 at 09:07 PM

clear win for "stach" Parros !

Posted by bruins34 on October 01, 2013 at 10:11 PM

Stache got the position early on and was able to dictate the pace. No damage done, but Parros with the win here. It's really cool to see Montreal with a functioning heavyweight again. The new kinda-Adams division is going to be really entertaining this year. Has anyone sent this game tape to the Red Wings as an example of what they're getting themselves in to?

Posted by chaoticbrew on October 04, 2013 at 07:48 PM

Parros handled him easily , bad shoulder and all

Posted by H.i.t.m.a.n 514 on October 01, 2013 at 09:30 PM

DRAW NICE TO SEE MONTREAL ADD HELP FOR PRUST

Posted by Jefftech on November 07, 2013 at 04:50 PM

Fight was okay but my biggest laugh was of the obese Hab fan raising his arm in victory. It was the most exercise he got in a year. LOL

Posted by bigdog2007 on October 01, 2013 at 11:43 PM

Hahahahaha. Coltie Oreo 0-1. Parros beats his ass....hahaha

Posted by Fly28ers on October 03, 2013 at 04:03 PM

Win Perros

Posted by Boston Garden on October 01, 2013 at 10:29 PM

Typical sloppy Parros fight.

Posted by dapwas20 on October 01, 2013 at 09:18 PM

Parros with the edge in this one...

Posted by wooof on October 01, 2013 at 09:23 PM

Attaboy George , Prust is not alone anymore !

Posted by Silent Partner on October 04, 2013 at 07:30 AM

Orr start's this with a cheap shot and then gets beaten down. Win Parros !

Posted by pob on October 01, 2013 at 09:27 PM

Orr at his best. Throws a punch while parros gloves still on. Anyway, parros wins that fight.

Posted by DICKJOHNSON on October 02, 2013 at 07:02 AM

Slight edge Parros, he was the busier of the two as he kept Orr off balance.

Posted by Sixteendog16 on October 01, 2013 at 09:26 PM

Upset win for old George...

Posted by fight-fan on October 02, 2013 at 10:37 AM

Poor Pacioetty, I guess he can't be hit by a legal check.. Have to give this 1 to Parros who controlled the fight & landed a couple of more punches.

Posted by LGR72 on October 01, 2013 at 10:22 PM

Parros.

Posted by KingV on October 01, 2013 at 10:04 PM

An acceptable effort. Takes one or two tussles to get back in the swing of it sometimes.

Posted by coachbolstada on March 05, 2014 at 07:26 AM

Parros

Posted by mikebflorida on October 02, 2013 at 12:35 PM

Great job by George to use his reach advantage to outland Orr. Great way to start the season.

Posted by BooSanta on October 03, 2013 at 10:53 PM

Looks like Parros is back in tip top shape after this slugfest. Orr Got a few good ones in before Parros takes control and chalks up a w. If he could only get a w against that ice.

Posted by srehm1 on October 01, 2013 at 09:07 PM

Lots of swings and misses with Parros rating an edge overall.

Posted by rocky 1 on October 01, 2013 at 11:11 PM

George parros gets to Orr in this tilt for the knock down and the win!

Posted by Don Berry on October 02, 2013 at 02:32 PM

Win GP. Hope the slugger is ok. Looked like a concussion and a two week vacation to me.

Posted by GSP09 on October 02, 2013 at 12:43 PM

George winning his first fight as a Habs, what a joke that some voted for Orr.

Posted by jnk07899 on October 02, 2013 at 05:18 PM

Big George, Get well soon bro. Colton Orr, you're a scum bag. Notice how when Parros challenges Orr, he asks and waits. Orr saw an opportunity to drop gloves and throw two punches before Parros could return. I hope you read this particular comment Colton and I hope you know that you're a coward.

Posted by GreatMurray on October 02, 2013 at 10:04 AM

Two really big strong boys but neither did any serious damage. Parros might have landed a few. Orr connected with zip. Parros wins.

Posted by remember89 on November 05, 2013 at 01:04 PM

Great tash.

Posted by Pug Face on October 02, 2013 at 12:59 PM

All parros

Posted by jeben23 on October 01, 2013 at 08:58 PM

Nice tilt to open the season. Parros landed maybe 3, Orr landed 2 or 3.

Posted by paradan on October 01, 2013 at 09:27 PM

win parros

Posted by Leafs2012 on October 01, 2013 at 09:21 PM

Parros wins this one, but gotta give credit to Colton for hanging in there.

Posted by shawnrocks on October 01, 2013 at 09:36 PM

orr jumped him parros kicked his ass

Posted by 33Oliwa on October 01, 2013 at 09:42 PM

Excited to see Parros in this division

Posted by Diablo69 on October 07, 2013 at 06:24 PM

Hey every1 (few exceptions as always), you morons will recognise yourselves am sure.... LOLLL... Wasn't sure about mister Movember coming to Mtl but... he's made me a fan of me already... Win for the Movember guy... I do think Orr ducked on the ice so it woudn't be to much of a disgrace to him :) Movember & Prust... this could be an OK duo for the habs... We'll see ;)

Posted by DotRats on October 02, 2013 at 11:26 AM

body blows by George hurt.

Posted by HockeyDiablo on October 22, 2013 at 11:06 PM

I moustache you a question. Do you think Parros is one of the top 3 fighters in the leauge today?

Posted by saw72893 on October 02, 2013 at 09:12 PM

Okay fight, I like watching the old George!

Posted by Guitar_Slayer on October 03, 2013 at 12:26 PM

Orr tries to jump Parros while he's already tied up with another guy and gets his butt kicked. The Leafs better loose this mob mentality because they won't like it when the suspensions make them miss the playoffs.

Posted by Luvdafights on October 01, 2013 at 09:19 PM

Win Parros.

Posted by Fightjudge on November 04, 2013 at 06:10 PM

No contest. Parros destroyed Orr.

Posted by cible on October 01, 2013 at 09:17 PM

George Parros asked multiple times in the first to go and Orr declined. Momentum changing was no excuse cause both times the score was 0-0 and 2-1 Montreal. I saw this fight from another angle and Orr jumps Parros at the start by dropping his gloves and throwing the first punch when Parros had still his gloves on. Straight psss stuff shown by a legit fighter in Orr. Not much landed but giving it to Parros for the takedown and Orr's conduct!

Posted by Ronnie82 on October 01, 2013 at 09:03 PM

draw orr early, parros late

Posted by TERMINATOR on November 03, 2013 at 01:40 AM

Parros with some overhand rights to get the edge....not landing heavily but still enough to take Orr down.

Posted by 29th_Candidate on October 02, 2013 at 12:34 PM

This round was all 'Stache.

Posted by kkdowning on October 03, 2013 at 08:53 AM

I always wondered why linesmen and refs do not wear visors. Anyway, giving this one to Parros by a slight margin

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on October 03, 2013 at 03:56 PM

Long live the stache.

Posted by JoshKay_Fantasy on October 02, 2013 at 01:04 PM

Good scrap between two willing combatants. Parros took exception to Orr's hit on Max Pacioretty in the first period and this is what Orr does best so he was gladly up to the challenge. Win- Parros

Posted by SabresFanatic on October 02, 2013 at 12:38 AM

Draw? Hmm, wonder if that 48% voting for a draw are TO fans!?

Posted by grocerystick on October 01, 2013 at 09:13 PM

Who'da thunk these two would be the first ones to go this season? Love it! Magnum El Moustachio with the win...

Posted by staceyb on October 02, 2013 at 05:37 AM

Orr opens the season 0-1.
