Update: Jan 06, 2007

Just one fight last night, a good bout between Jody Shelley and George Parros. It’s Youtube’d up for preview on the videos page.

The Winnipeg Sun consulted Murray Greig to write up his Top 10 tough guys:

Murray Greig has trained and managed professional boxers and has worked the corner in Canadian, Commonwealth and world title fights. Here he sizes up the fistic prowess of hockey players that he’s personally seen drop the gloves

There’s a top 10, another top 10, and then a 5 worst. It’s pretty Canadian team-heavy, which comes as no surprise. Not bad lists, although a lot of the ranking seems based more on reputation than fight outcome.

Thanks to Alanah for the pointer.
