The Heavyweights Entertain

The weekend has passed and we were left with a few heavyweight bouts that turned out to be pretty entertaining.

Steve MacIntyre provided a ton of offense in his clash with David Koci during Saturday's Oilers–Avs matchup, but Koci, who is making the most out of an increase in playing time, stayed right there with his opponent in a great fight.

Divisional foes Darcy Hordichuk and Eric Boulton went at it as well, with Hordichuk getting the better of Boulton in a not-so-competitive fight. The same could be said for Mike Rupp, who scored a decisive upset win over Shawn Thornton as well.

Jody Shelley made quick work of Brian Boyle during the start of Flyers–Rangers on Sunday, but it was Brandon Dubinsky's performance against Mike Richards that summed up New York's blowout win on the scoreboard.
