Table for Three

Friday produced a total of three fights.

Ever-improving, part-time heavyweight Mike Rupp put in a solid performance against Thrashers enforcer Eric Boulton last night. While Rupp might not be finding the net at the same rate he did last season, he’s still managed to find a niche as a high energy player with the capability of taking on the bigger names for the Devils while Cam Janssen continues on the road back from shoulder surgery.

A pair of scraps in the Stars’ 4-2 win over the Ducks last night. Corey Perry gave Steve Ott a little slash after being sent into the boards early on in the first period. Ott took exception, dropped his gloves, and grabbed Perry but Chris Kunitz came barreling in after Ott in defense of his teammate

Travis Moen and Krys Barch had themselves a go after Moen got into it with Dallas point leader Mike Riberio.
