Stu Grimson Now Full-Time Radio Analyst

Stu Grimson laid down the law as one of the NHL’s all-time busiest fighters. After his hockey career ended, he was admitted to the bar in Tennessee, and now he’s the full-time radio colourman for the Nashville Predators.

Enforcer to lawyer to broadcaster? Too many blows to the head? How does that compute?

“I refer to it (working the radio) as kind of a sweet spot,” said Grimson, 47. “You’re close enough to the action and you still get the benefits of being around the game, and get to work in professional sports, which is kind of fun, but you’re not close enough to the action where anybody will point the finger at you if things aren’t going well.”
