Stars Suffer Injuries Against B’s

Thursday night’s slugfest against Boston was costly for the Dallas Stars.

They placed forward Adam Burish on injured reserve because of a facial injury Friday and recalled forward Francis Wathier from the Texas Stars of the AHL. Burish was injured in a fight with Boston defenseman Andrew Ference, continued to play and eventually left the 6-3 loss.

Forward Krys Barch is also out with what is being called a facial injury suffered in a fight with Bruins forward Shawn Thornton. He left after the brawl.
