Slow Start After a Slow Preseason

We've only seen one fight after nine games. A small sample set, but after a preseason which saw the lowest fight numbers in over a decade, one has to wonder what the league will look like this season.
It's too early to make a prediction, as these numbers tend to be cyclical, but with the bereaved offseason and suspensions being handed out like candy from the get-go, it's hard not to wonder if something has changed on the ice.
The one bout we did see came from Stockholm, between Brandon Prust and Kyle Clifford. It was a lengthy bout where both players seemed to lock each other up well.
There are 13 games on tomorrow's schedule, the first full Saturday of the season. The two games being played over in Europe will be afternoon games here in North America, and the rest will fill your night.
