Shawn Thornton to Get Some Screen Time

Thornton has met Whalberg a couple times, he said, and done some work for Wahlberg’s foundation in Boston. When the Entourage deal didn’t work out, Thornton was offered a role in “Ted.” It was shot in Boston and features Thornton rushing a stage where Wahlberg greets him with a microphone stand to the face.

“The role is ‘Crazy Guy,'” said Thornton, who, so early in his acting career, already seems to be a victim of typecasting. “I still had a fresh scar, a shaved head and a big beard at the time. I have one line, ‘You’re an ass@#$%.’ It was easy. It rolled off my tongue.”
