Shawn Thornton Isn’t Fighting Jarome Iginla
Who would you rather see Thornton fight?
Thornton has two fighting majors in 12 games in the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs. Facing the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Eastern Conference Finals, Thornton and the Bruins come across two primary villains – Matt Cooke and Jarome Iginla.
CSN New England is asking the question, but the possible answers are beyond unlikely. There would have to be a lop-sided score and major incident (and some odd line match-ups) for Shawn Thornton to be on the ice with Jarome Iginla and both of them agree to drop the gloves. Matt Cooke didn't fight all season and is really trying to be a different player. No reason for him to change now.
