Rocky Thompson’s Peace

At 34, a born-again Christian, Rocky Thompson, Calgary-born one-time Flames’ cult hero, is happier in his life ever before. He and his wife, Elizabeth have four children ranging from five to 13 years old. His assistant coaching gig with the American Hockey League Oklahoma City Barons is “the second-best job in the world, next to playing.”

He’s at peace with himself, shorn of the black depression that plagued his fight-filled career.
