Penguins Protect Their Stars
Protecting superstars is as old as hockey, and perhaps for the first time all season, an opposing team started taking liberties with Crosby in the Penguins’ 5-2 win over Toronto on Wednesday.
An army of Penguins made sure it wouldn’t be tolerated.
“You’ve got to protect your players,” Penguins left wing Mike Rupp said. “That’s what we do.”
