Monday's theme was an easy one to identify with as the veterans were visibly  outlasting the young guns.

Despite a difference in age (Barch is older), Colton Orr has the edge on Krys Barch in terms of NHL experience. He also had the advantage during their long scrap in the early moments of Stars–Leafs.

Elsewhere around the league, Adam Mair outlanded Matt Hendricks in an average middleweight bout. Chris Neil scored an impressive comeback win over a game Kevin Westgarth in an absolute war as well.

Michael Sauer also went twice for the Rangers, drawing even with Stefan Meyer and recent Flames addition Tom Kostopoulos.
