Multi-Fight Games Making a Comeback

Multi-Fight Games Making a Comeback

Fighting numbers are down moderately all-around, but the biggest statistical drop is in the amount of games with more than one bout. We're currently on pace to finish with less than 100 for the first time in five years.

With that said, we've had eight multi-fight games in the past week, and with the playoff race in the final stretch, divisional and conference rivals are seeing each other a little more than they would like to.

Tuesday night featured three of the aforementioned contests, all with a pair of bouts. The evening's most prominent matchups involved the heavyweights. Shawn Thornton tussled with Jay Rosehill in the middle of B'sLeafs to break a tie for the top spot on the fighting major leaderboard

Elsewhere, John Scott continued to avoid defeat in a solid tilt with Cam Janssen during RangersDevils and USHL product Brandon Bollig danced with Ryan Reaves at the start of HawksBlues.
