Keystone Clash Gets Revamped

The Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins rivalry just concluded another chapter. While the pair of Pennsylvania teams have never been shy about expressing their dislike for each other, there hasn't been a four-fight game in the Flyers-Pens annals since December 11, 2007. On Tuesday night, the two teams hit the refresh button.

The game was fairly quiet until Zac Rinaldo took a run at Kris Letang in the final minutes of the first period. Letang was up against the boards with his back turned when Rinaldo barreled down on him and hit him from behind. Letang lay on the ice for a couple minutes before being helped to his feet and leaving the game. Rinaldo also left the game, served with a boarding major and game misconduct. He'll probably sit a few more games after hearing from the league.
