Just Two
A seven-game slate only produced a pair of scraps last night. Wade Belak, in his first game with Florida this season, took on resident Wild enforcer Derek Boogaard in a prolonged bout. Meanwhile, Paul Bissonnette made quick work of Matt Bradley in Pens–Caps, sending Bradley to the ice courtesy of a right hand.
Tomorrow night’s part of the schedule features two players returning to their former homes: Ryan Hollweg visiting Manhattan and Brian McGrattan making an appearance in Ottawa as well as the always-entertaining Battle of Alberta, which produced 13 fights in 8 games last season. Unfortunately Hollweg is still serving a suspension, so his time in NY won’t be spent on the ice.
