John Scott Prepares to Defend Sabres

John Scott doesn’t have a defined position. There’s no guarantee he’ll play for the Buffalo Sabres every night. But when the 6-foot-8, 270-pounder with knockout fists is wearing Blue and Gold, the odds of Milan Lucic running over Ryan Miller will be remarkably lower than they were last year.

“Hopefully, with me next year, that doesn’t happen,” Scott said by phone this week. “If it does happen, there’s a different outcome.”

With comments like that, there’s probably already a John Scott Fan Club in Sabreland.
