Jay Rosehill Gets Opportunity From New Coach

The first Leaf on the ice Monday was Jay Rosehill.

No surprise when he can sense his first NHL start in almost two months, with a green light to play the role he’s most familiar with.

“He has to defend teammates when that’s called upon,” new coach Randy Carlyle said. “Whether he plays, I haven’t decided, but we always want to make sure we have that comfort for our skill players.”
