If Only It Counted
Derek Boogaard and Steve MacIntyre scored goals last night. I have no idea if I’ll ever be able to write that again, so I’m doing it now.
Boogaard, who owns the current NHL goalless streak at 222 games last scored a goal on January 7, 2006. Boogaard picked up a couple of minor penalties in the game and was a +2.
MacIntyre, who scored the lone goal for the Oilers in the second period, was involved in a great fight with Raitis Ivanans in the first period. Big Mac added to his PIMs total late in the game when he speared Ian White.
