Gregory Campbell vs Cody McLeod, Mar 21, 2014

This week's Fight of the Week belonds to middleweights Gregory Campbell and Cody McLeod. With his team down 1-0 to the Bruins early in the first period of last Friday's game, the Avs' McLeod looked for a dance to spark his team, and found Campbell. McLeod opened the scoring with a couple quick lefts, but Campbell countered with a flurry of punches of his own and got McLeod's helmet off. McLeod swung and missed with a huge right, and they tied each other up. Each player attempted to go over and under with a few more punches, but nothing of real consequence landed. As the linesmen intervened, McLeod threw a couple more rights, capping off an active, scrappy fight.

This was McLeod's 12th fight this season, which puts him 6th on the NHL leaderboard for fighting majors.
