Godard and Thornton Meet Again

Only one fight took place on Monday night. Eric Godard and Shawn Thornton dropped the gloves and wrestled around in close quarters before quickly falling to the ice in Pens–Bruins. It was the first time that the two fought since the 2004-05 NHL lockout, which saw both play in the AHL.

Recapping Sunday: Shane O’Brien and Adam Burish locked horns in the first period of Canucks–Blackhawks and Mike Brown and Ben Eager followed suit in the second. Nathan McIver and Dan LaCouture fought to a draw in the lone fight during Canes–Ducks.
